14.01.2022 Amazing work, and here’s hoping he can take it to a larger scale! As mentioned though, removing plastic from the ocean does not solve the issue. Stopping plastic from reaching the ocean is the best solution.

11.01.2022 This video is very eye opening! We don’t have to have everyone able to fit their waste in a mason jar to see the benefits though. Each small change leads to big improvements!

11.01.2022 Love Christmas? I love Christmas for the time with family and friends. It’s lovely to be able to relax and recharge, and get ready for the next year. What I don’t like about Christmas is how it’s turned into such a materialistic event. The giving of gifts is a beautiful experience (and the receiving of gifts!), but as each year goes by it’s becoming more about the gifts and not the experience sadly. The scary thing is that a lot of the time, the things we buy are not susta...inable, and end up discarded sooner than we expect. From wrapping paper to excessive food waste, it can become a wasteful few weeks. Please consider where the things you will buy will end up and choose an eco friendly option where possible. Give the gift of less waste this Christmas, both to your family and friends and the environment This Christmas

11.01.2022 This is a great read about starting out on a waste free journey. Some of the biggest waste generators in any home is food packaging and bathroom waste but there are heaps of alternatives available. They may seem more costly upfront but the benefits and cost savings are huge in the long run. Like in the story, we don’t need everyone doing this perfectly, we need everyone to have a go and do what they can to reduce landfill!

10.01.2022 Garbage levels are such a critical issue for Australia. Even the smallest change can make a big difference. From food waste to plastic waste, it all adds up!
