23.01.2022 The Department of Education is closing Greta Public school tomorrow Wednesday 13th. With this information and guide, along with many of our families affected by todays fires, we will be closing for business tomorrow. If you need care for your child please make alternative arrangements. 19.01.2022 Last month we looked at what plants need to grow. Our preschool friends came to up with soil, water, air and sun. We took away the soil to see if seeds would grow. Here are those seeds. Look at all the roots soaking up the water. Maybe you could try growing seeds at home with no soil. Next term we could try taking away a different element. Have fun experimenting over the holidays.

We will be opening tomorrow but please be aware of the catastrophic conditions forecast. If you decide to send your child, please ensure the ability to pick your child up in the case of an evacuation, being aware that in this case, road closures may occur.
17.01.2022 This year the children worked collaboratively to make our Christmas tree. It is known as the giving tree. Over the weeks we have been talking as a group how some people might not get many gifts. Also talking about how good it feels to give to others.

10.01.2022 Todays children found one last silkworm in the process of making its cocoon. Cool!
09.01.2022 Over the last couple of weeks the children have been looking after silkworms and learning about life cycles. To the childrens surprise today...they found the silkworms had made their cocoons. How exciting!!!

07.01.2022 The awning is now finnished. New fans and lights will be installed next week. New picnic tables have been purchased and fingers crossed, will arrive before children return on Friday 29th. If not they won't be far away. Our outdoor undercover area will look amazing when all final elements are completed. Yay!!
