24.01.2022 Congratulations to Isaac Lange (son of Paul and Karen Lange), who was recently awarded the Indigenous Undergraduate Student’s Top Academic Award for the College of Medicine and Dentistry 2020 at JCU Townsville. Isaac has just completed his 2nd year and has headed up to Cooktown for a two week placement and hopes that he might do some work in Hopevale and Wujal Wujal. He will spend time in the Hospital and GP Clinic. This has made him further realise how important his Indigenous heritage is, to him and others, and inspired him to learn more about it. He has seen how vital it is that he serve as a role model for other Indigenous people as to what they can achieve. Attached is a photo of the night of Isaac receiving his award from the Dean of Medicine. His parents are so proud!
