21.01.2022 Dear Family and Friends, Hope everyone had a great weekend especially with this beautiful weather. Either down at the beach battling the seagulls for stilling your chips or in the city at the dumpling market! It has come to our attention that our printing company printed the incorrect menu as we noticed a small change in the description of 2 of our dishes. ... On the menu we have Lemon and Honey Stir Fry but we changed it to Lemon Chicken and Honey Chicken (guest favourite dishes). So these two dishes are not stir fries in a wok but they a fried dishes. We apologies for any inconvenience, we will be updating the in house and online menu to reflect this. Future release of the Takeaway menu will also have this updated. 20.01.2022 Dear Family and Friends! Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. As covid is lowering, restrictions are being lifted and summer approaching, people are going out more and making some changes to their living lifestyle. ... Sadly to say this though, there has been a couple incidents during our delivery service last few weeks to two different locations around Adelaide where one of our staff was almost robbed by people on the street. The cases were not linked as the people trying to rob our guest food were random bypass people. All we can say is stay away from drugs kids! Due to the recent event and excitement of summer approaching at Ha Long Bay SA we are also making some changes, some are temporary while others are permanent. Thank you to our valued guest who have given us some idea and advises on our menu and restaurant, we have taken this on board and have made some renovations which hopefully everyone will love and we believe it would be a good change as the weather is changing. From 3rd November 2020, we are making the below changes. 1. We have redesign the layout of the in house and takeaway menu, so please keep an eye out for the menu whether online or in your letter box 2. As season is changing we have removed some winter dishes and put in summer dishes. However the guest favourites are still on the menu like honey chicken, roast duck, cracking pork.... and much more 3. Temporary we are stopping staff delivery service as our staff driver is still bit shaken from the recent events. So Takeaway only and no delivery. However in saying that we are still on Uber Eats and Menulog if you are not able to come in to takeaway. 4. We will be posting limited special dishes that is isn’t on the main menu like Peking Duck and Steamed scallops with ginger and shallots. So please keep an eye for this limited dishes. 5. A very good friend of Ha Long Bay sadly has closed their cafe due to struggling with covid, so we have helped him out and bought his wines from him so we will have some wines from his list that we will sell cheaply as they are not part of our wine list and we want to help him sell it. We are only selling these wines per bottle and not by glass. So please keep an eye out and ask one of our friendly staff for this special wine list and grab a bottle for your meal. Pizza might be back on the menu but why have that for the festive season when you can come in to our restaurant for your favourite, crackling pork, quails, honey chicken, ha long bay fried rice, salt and pepper squid and much more! Due to SA Health requirement we have been advised to have a QR Code scanner available for customers entering our restaurant. We are not keen on this idea as it can be breaching peoples privacy, however we must do our part to keep SA safe and small business like ours from further closing due to lockdown. We have been advised the details when checking in will only last 28 days and after that it will be erased... from SA Health system. On or near the dinning table you will see the QR Code everywhere in our restaurant, so could you please where possible check in using the QR Code. As always if you are not feeling well or have COVID-19 like symptoms please stay home to rest and not enter the restaurant. If you are mild with a cold or other COVID-19 like symptoms and takeaway has been ordered then please stand at the entrance door and give us a call and we can bring it out to you safely.
