Hamilton Gallery and Hamilton Library are seeking Expressions of Interest for a public art mural to activate and support the local arts community during this difficult time. 18.01.2022 In line with Stage 3 restrictions announced by the Victorian Government, Hamilton Gallery will close from 5pm today, Wednesday 5 August. This is an unfortunate outcome, however we understand the seriousness of the current situation and wish to ensure the safety of our staff and community. While the Gallery's doors must be closed, we will continue to run online programs and Covid safe art activation projects.... 15.01.2022 Local Artist Jasmine Mansbridge has created a new sculpture which will be featured at SWELL sculpture festival this September. In 2015 HG hosted a solo show by Mansbridge which presented early versions of the 'Thought Catcher'. Check out the video!

This show is titled Brit Pop and features influential English artists from the HG collection such as Francis Bacon, David Hockney and Alun Leach Jones.
