24.01.2022 Yay, mobile grooming is allowed back as of tomorrow. I’ll be in contact with you all to rebook. Please be patient as I said, I cannot fit everyone in this week. Also I must ask, as part of my covid safe plan, that if you are unwell or waiting on covid test results, you must let me know. Also I will be wearing a mask as part of my ppe and I ask you to do the same. I’ll look forward to seeing you all soon

24.01.2022 Just an update for everyone that has a dog waiting for grooming, as much as I want to get back to work to help the poor puppers that are now well overdue, I simply can’t risk a $20k fine. If your dog is in pain from matting or needs their nails trimmed please take them to a vet. Fixed shop salon groomers are allowed to open 28/9, mobile groomers 19/10.

23.01.2022 This is what can happen to a dogs tail if you allow it to fully mat, this was completely matted and the hair had twisted around and around the tail forming a tourniquet. I had to gently and slowly release the hair. The tail, although was very red and sore will recover. If left for much longer it may have had to be amputated. The dog was in a lot of pain but felt much better when it was all removed and was happily wagging it around. Regular brushing and combing would have prevented this even in lockdown.

15.01.2022 Some cute faces to brighten my week. Seeing your beautiful pups always puts a smile on my face.

11.01.2022 It looks like I will have to remain closed for at least another two weeks and possibly not be able to reopen until 26/10. I will try to contact as many clients as I can to reschedule their appointments once I know what is going on. If you are concerned that your dog may not be able to wait due to overheating or other issues, I’d suggest contacting your vet as they may be able to do a short clip off for emergency reasons. Any other concerns you may have, just send me a message or give me a call and I may be able to help over the phone. Also I will not be able to take on any new clients at this stage as I must give priority to my regular customers. Thanks and take care .

10.01.2022 Following the announcement yesterday that dog groomers are allowed back to work from the 28/9, please note that it’s only fixed salons not mobiles. I’m not sure when I’ll be back on the road but it’s looking like the 26/10. I totally understand if you need to get your dogs groomed at a salon before then but if you could let me know so I can cross you off my list that would be great. Thanks everyone

04.01.2022 Thank you everyone for your kind messages and support. Can I ask everyone to please be patient with regard to bookings as I cannot fit all of the dogs in on the first week we are back . I will contact everyone as soon as I know. Take care and hug your dog (even if they are a bit stinky)

04.01.2022 Some sad news to start the week with I’m afraid. My little Bichon, Hershey, gained his wings on Friday. He was my inspiration for grooming, taught me so much and gave me nothing but love. Rest easy old man.
