22.01.2022 On Mondays we go for Pony Play Dates at Horses In Mind Inc. They children look after the animals, collect eggs, play with other children and have lots of pony rides. If youre looking for a weekday activity to do with your animal loving children then you cant go past this. They also do school holiday pony camp for school age children. Go check them out.

19.01.2022 Today we went to a special educational day at IndigiScapes. We love this place but today was extra special. We got to join in so many activities such as yarning circles, story time, clay modelling, bush tucker baking and watching some indigenous dancers. We also enjoyed exploring the bush boardwalk and playing in the maze.

11.01.2022 Yesterday we went for a visit to Kumbartcho Wildlife Sanctuary. We went for a lovely walk through the bush. We saw ducks, turtles and even 2 koalas high up in the trees. We checked out a bush tucker garden but we didnt try any of the food. After lots of walking we came across a magical fairy trail. There were lots of fairy houses, fairies, gnomes, unicorns and other magical creatures. We spent so much time exploring all the amazing things in this part of the forest. Before we left we wrote letters to the fairies, thanking them for letting us visit, and we put them in their letter box. We then went and did some arts and craft and created a puppet show with some native animal puppets. It was a truly magical day out

09.01.2022 This morning we went for our first Ponies and Play Dates at Horses In Mind Inc. We had a fantastic morning, feeding the chickens and ducks, patting the animals, brushing the ponies, cuddling the calves, playing with the dogs and having pony rides. We cant wait to go again. We are booked in for a term of fun with these gorgeous animals and fantastic volunteers. ... 06.01.2022 Today we made our annual pilgrimage to a strawberry farm for some strawberry picking and strawberry ice cream. We picked a lot of juicy red strawberries, ate nice fresh strawberry ice cream, watched the farmer at work on his tractor and enjoyed a play in the playground. It was the perfect winters day for this adventure.

05.01.2022 Letters to Nursing Homes The children were sad to hear that elderly people in nursing homes are unable to have visits from their loved ones during this time so we decided to make cards and artwork for some of our friends elderly parents. The children lovingly decorated cards and each of them told me what they would like to write in their card.
