22.01.2022 Our students had a wonderful day on Thursday with Den Barber, Aboriginal Cultural presenter. They began the day with a traditional smoking ceremony and Aboriginal songs. The children learnt about the Aboriginal countries, the flag and what it represents, traditional tools, customs and beliefs.They also took part in song and dance. Den explained to the children that everything comes from the earth (Mother) and returns to the earth. Thanks Den for an informative, educational and fun day.
20.01.2022 What beautiful weather to be outdoors enjoying our Bike Education program with Toireasa Gallagher from the 'Let's Ride' program. The students practised starting correctly, cornering, braking and hand signals before tackling some interesting obstacle courses and finishing with time trials. Thanks Toireasa and Sporting Schools for a great day!
20.01.2022 A big thank you to our P&C helpers who organised the Fathers' Day stall today at the Hargraves Hall.The children enjoyed choosing gifts for Dads and Grandfathers from a wonderful selection.Thanks to everyone involved.

19.01.2022 Swimming Lessons Next Week - A Reminder to parents and children Travel will be by Terry’s bus and car. The children will leave each day following morning tea and arrive back in time for the afternoon bus run. Children on the Mudgee Road bus run will be dropped off on the way back to Hargraves each afternoon.... Each day children will need to bring: - Swimmers, sun-shirt and towel packed in their swimming bag - Their own sunscreen if they aren’t using the school supplied sunscreen - Morning tea, lunch and water packed in their school backpack - Children are to wear uniform each day

16.01.2022 Another fabulous day today with Toireasa saw another Kindergarten student off training wheels and a big improvement in skills all round. Timed obstacle courses and ramps to negotiate were just part of the fun. Thanks Toireasa and well done everyone for your good behaviour and engagement in every activity.

15.01.2022 Our children were very excited to learn they had been awarded third place in the state for their Power Point presentation in the CWA's 2019 Country of Study competition. The children learnt about the people, culture, the economy, traditions and land forms of Papua New Guinea.
15.01.2022 Our Year 6 students lead this year's Remembrance Day service held at the monument. Thank you to Mr. Colin Shapland who spoke to the children about the importance of remembering. School Captain Ava laid flowers on behalf of the school and the children laid flowers and crosses to honour the fallen soldiers of the Hargraves district. Thank you to members of the community for attending.
13.01.2022 What a fabulous job our students did on Friday night at our annual Play Night at the Hargraves Hall. Held under a Covid Safety plan, the students entertained parents and grandparents and it was obvious they loved every minute of it. Well done everyone!
10.01.2022 Last Friday we held our own Athletics carnival in the absence of the usual Small Schools and Zone Carnival this year. All students from Kindergarten to Year 6 participated in track and field events and had a great day. Congratulations to our champions: Juvenile - Neve Benson; Junior - Damian Turner; Senior - Abbey Rowland-Jones. Thanks to Miss Lawson & Mrs Glisic for organising the day.
