23.01.2022 A message worth sharing Dr Mike Armour, lead author on the paper and a lead researcher at Western Sydney Universitys NICM Health Research Institute, said the research highlighted the need for policy makers to recognise the "substantial financial burden" of endometriosis on many women. "As well as health care costs, the pain they experience can result in time off work and a reduction in productivity, both at work and outside of work," he said.... He said that reducing pain could reduce the loss of productivity and improve quality of life - yet many women report having their concerns about undiagnosed endometriosis being dismissed as "severe period pain". "This research clarifies that endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain can have considerable impact for the women affected, their carers and the wider economy," he said. #fridaynight

05.01.2022 Lets break this up. We have a brand. And we have a story. Your job is to tell and sell the story of your brand. But when it comes to brand story, it is all in the telling. A good brand story will sell itself. People need to feel an emotional connection to a brand. It is not enough to deliver a handful of facts and figures, those appeal to the rational side of the brain and when you make a connection with somebody, emotion trumps rationality. At their core, people want to FEE...L something. Your brand story needs to be believable, identifiable and authentic. Emotional connections are made intuitively and visually so the brand story you create needs to speak to people. To achieve this, it needs to follow a few simple rules: The protagonist in your story is not you, and it is not even your brand. It is the audience. People dont want a story about you, they want a story that reflects something of themselves. In relationships, in friendships, in life, people are looking for familiarity, something relatable to themselves, in order to emotionally connect. You need a clear message. If youre not sure what your product or service is about, your clients wont be either. Your story should offer a solution to a problem that gnaws at a clients daily life. People dont buy a solution to a problem that does not affect them. Tap in. Put yourself out there. Reveal your own values, purpose and passions. Making yourself vulnerable helps people to connect emotionally. If they can see themselves in you, they are much more likely to become a cheerleader for what you are doing or offering. Remember, brand stories give people an insight into what makes your particular brand tick. People dont necessarily love a brand itself, they love what it says about them. Think BMW and Mercedes driving one says, hey, Im cashed up people. It requires a little bit of soul searching. Think about what drew you to pursuing what you do, why you believe there is a market for it, why it sings to you. If you believe your brand story, other people will too.
