11.01.2022 23 years ago today Heddon Greta Drive-in re-opened after much hard work from family and friends and even strangers who walked in the gate and took up a paint brush. Many thanks to all the people who helped us with opening and those who have worked with us since. A special thanks to all our patrons who have come to share that unique movie experience with us over the years. Please keep coming so we can keep sharing the experience with new generations. ... 01.01.2022 Wodonga Skyline "The former Wodonga Drive-In, Melbourne rd, Wodonga (the former Hume Highway 31) near the Melrose Rd Intersection(South East Corner) Across the ...road was Scotty Taylor Holden, and the Bunk House hotel? was on the corner of Melrose. The Cafeteria was below the screen where you entered behind the screens after crossing the kids play area(with white small gravel stones) The large bird cage was in the centre. Kids did play on the equipment during the advertising Slides of local businesses etc, or leader - Movie Tone News, short movie. Occasionally someones(tall) head walking to or from the Café came on the screen. The Projector House is to the left maybe level with the camera.
