20.01.2022 As I answered, I love you too I hung up and wondered did she hear my answer, was I loud enough? I really hope so. I didn’t think anything of it as we say I love you in our texts but hearing her voice say it, felt different. She really meant it. I could hear & feel her truth. 10 days later I hear news of her taking her own life. Devastated . I knew her struggles and we chatted. A friend of 10 years, a close bond formed as we shared our yoga Teacher training together & livi...ng the London life. Her story is not mine to share but my point of sharing is to say, don’t be afraid to say I LOVE YOU. Wait for the answer and really hear it. Be present with those you love, speak your truth. Love can really hurt but I am SO happy I knew this woman & have so many funny memories with her. ‘Rather to have loved & lost, than to never have loved at all’ She was a cracker - witty, blunt, so funny, generous, loyal, caring & super clever. I wish I told her that more often. Caro you are home with John & Tim now. Your suffering is over. You are loved. You are enough. You are perfect.
