25.01.2022 It is with much sadness that I announce that Sue Kingsford passed away last night. Sue ran Roses and Friends rose nursery, received many accolades for her involvement with roses over many years and will be sadly missed by her family and rose friends far and wide. Sue is seen here with David Stone during the HRIA Mittagong conference where Sue was the driving force. May you be surrounded by your beloved roses Sue.

18.01.2022 A subject of much interest

17.01.2022 Part two of the digging process. This nursery is sending 130 bourbon roses to Reunion. Plus the following comments were interesting: There must be no land, and according to countries certain pathogens must not return to the territory. Our grounds are checked in the lab every year as well as a few roses, pests can be nematodes, mines, phytophtora... It's important for example to send roses without nematode that could contaminate crops of potato in the host country. To avoid this we do crop rotations with phacelia seedlings, besides being an excellent green fertilizer, this plant is also nematicide.
