16.01.2022 After the horrific fires that have burned through our State recently and particularly the South Coast, we today had confirmation from Twofold Bay at Eden that they absolutely want us there for our State Titles 8/9 February. Can I urge EVERYONE to get on board, attend this event, regardless of what Hobie Cat you sail and help a community recover by putting money into there economy by way of accomodation, food, drink, petrol etc... Enter now - book your accommodation now and not only participate in a great event but help support a community that’s been ravaged by fire. If for whatever reason the event needs to cancelled, your entry fees WILL BE refunded in full. Thank you

12.01.2022 ATTENTION all NSW Hobie Sailors, We are very disappointed to announce that Round 2 of the NSW Hobie State Titles for the H14, Women and Youth have been CANCELLED. Given the ever changing health landscape that we are currently experiencing, we felt that it was in the best interests of our sailors, families and hosting club to cancel the event. We did not make this decision lightly and was in line with advice from Australian Sailing and World Health Organisation. ALL entry f...ees have been reimbursed via the means in which they were paid and will be available within 10 business days. If possible, we will try and reschedule this event in the first half of next season but this will be situational dependant. We would like to acknowledge the awesome effort that the H14’s have made to grow the fleet and want to ensure you, as an Association, we are here to support this growth. We want to encourage our sailing family to exercise sensibility throughout this period of unknown. Take care, be safe and we will see you all on the beach soon.. 12.01.2022 We don’t normally make personal posts... However, this is my home club. Started sailing there as a 4yo with my Dad, brother and Aunt. I attended Sunday Sailing School with my YA book under the guidance of the amazing Ashley Chapman (passed) for so many years. I’ve so many fond memories and it’s so incredibly sad to see a Sailing Club close. Can I ask that if you are available the weekend of 1/2 Feb, come on up to Budgewoi for the final Calling all Skippers regatta. Entry fee is FREE! Saturday night dinner is FREE! Hope to see as many Hobie Cats there as possible. Thank you Kerrie

08.01.2022 Unfortunately we have just received communication from Vincentia Sailing Club who have declined to host the 20/21 Hobie Nationals. As your Association, we are working hard to find an alternative venue. We will update you all as soon as we have more information. Cheers

06.01.2022 Good evening Hobie Sailors! We hope you and your families are safe and well. We have been working hard to liaise with suitable clubs to host R1 of our State Titles 29/29 November. We hope to confirm the host club soon. This year has been extraordinarily challenging with catastrophic bushfires earlier in the year to a global pandemic. We haven’t stopped trying to support our members and create awesome events. Hopefully we will have some positive news on State Titles soon. In the meantime, stay safe, stay well and we hope to see you all soon.

02.01.2022 We are excited to announce the 2020 NSW State Titles will be held 28-29 November at Palm Beach Sailing Club and will be open to ALL CLASSES! H14, H16, H18, Tiger and WildCat. Registrations will be open soon!

01.01.2022 PLEASE READ: bushfire conditions have escalated again around the Eden area making it unsafe and unpredictable. Serous concerns lie around the closure of roads which may affect sailors getting to the event and potentially getting home from the event. After consultation with Twofold Bay, the Hobie Committee has decided to postpone the State Titles that were scheduled for this weekend; in the interest of safety. We have tentatively rescheduled this event to 21st - 22nd March but will confirm ASAP. Apologies for any inconvenience but the safety and welfare of our sailors is paramount. Thank you for your understanding.
