02.01.2022 The flannel flower is the symbol of mental health Australia. It is resilient, as we hope humans will be, and is fluffy to touch,( like a flannelette shirt), a comforting feeling if someone is in distress. A workshop participant from the Disability Commission, gave me one, thank Justine That ticks off something on my bucket list. Definitely try to touch one, very unique.

02.01.2022 I always believe the right people turn up at the right time, for the group and for themselves. Had a very small group at The Borromean Centre Perth, due to last minute cancellations, and the participants said that they were glad, thanks Steve and Shelley. Normally I wouldve cancelled. Things do work out for the best

01.01.2022 Im now back delivering "physical" first aid as well, and there is still a focus on the injuries and illnesses, which there needs to be. We also need to be awar...e of the potential aftermath and mental health of people dealing with those traumas, these may trigger a mental health issue &/or make an existing condition worse. Learning the signs & symptoms and how to help is important to keep our loved ones safe & healthy. See more
