23.01.2022 My absolute favourite family portraits are when we just let the kids be kids, so I can photograph them in all their wild and wonderful glory - dancing, leaping and cuddling. Erin has been a good friend of mine for around 16 years, and I brag about having her as a friend all the time. She is intelligent, an amazing cook, a supermum, a beautiful friend and just an all round awesome human being. She has been with her husband Andrew since high school, and they've created the perfect little family and life together while staying so smitten with each other. I have been photographing them annually for a few years now, and seeing them grow makes me so happy. These kids are so lucky to have such amazing parents <3
22.01.2022 2017 is nearly over, and it's been a great year :D This year I photographed 25 weddings, 1 birth and 26 portraits/events. I met so many amazing people, and know how lucky I am to be capturing such special moments in their lives. 2017 was also the year that we finally have marriage equality, which has been a huge cause for celebration in the wedding industry. Congratulations to all of the same sex couples who will have their marriages legally recognised from this month onward...s <3 2018 will bring more beautiful weddings and families that I will have the pleasure of photographing, and it will also bring my husband Alex and I a new baby - a sister for our 2 year old daughter Imogen. Life is about to get (even more) crazy, and I'm super excited. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! Thanks for all of your love and support during a rollercoaster year Xx
21.01.2022 An absolutely perfect Summer's wedding at Mali Brae Farm with a couple who are just beautiful, inside and out. Sarah and Luke spent their wedding day smiling, crying, laughing, dancing, and cuddling, surrounded by their loved ones. I really enjoyed getting to know these guys in the lead up to their wedding, and they have such a calming presence that makes everyone around them comfortable and happy. They have been renovating in the lead up to their wedding, so I think that if they can survive renovations while wedding planning, then as a couple they're unstoppable ;)
21.01.2022 This is one of my incredible friends Kye and her two beautiful sisters, who she adores. There is nothing quite like the sibling bond. Knowing you have a friend for life who knows your entire story, all of the good bits and all of the bad bits. Someone you can laugh with, cry with, yell at (then apologise to), be completely honest with, and just share your life with. I had such a lovely time photographing their bond, and their gorgeous little families, on the most perfect summer afternoon. <3
18.01.2022 I've been a bit quiet on social media, but I have a good reason! Last Friday, we welcomed our beautiful baby girl Audrey into the world Her sister Imogen is smitten, and we had no idea how much our hearts could grow. I am officially on maternity leave until September, but I will be answering emails in between all the craziness of adjusting to life as a Mum of 2. Looking forward to so many amazing weddings and family shoots later in the year
17.01.2022 I had so much fun photographing the wedding of Candice and Clint at the most adorable little venue in a small town out of Canberra (Grazing at Gundaroo). The sun was shining, and the emotions were high. 15.01.2022 I knew I was in for an awesome day when Adam teared up telling me about how he met Leah, and how when she moved back home from the UK he was saddened to think that he could never move away from his family. It didn't take long for him to realise that he simply couldn't live without her, and with the full support of his family, he followed his heart to Australia. They were an absolute dream to photograph, and they celebrated their wedding in impeccable style at Seacliff House in Gerringong. They had emotional vows that had everyone in tears, MC Nanna leading the formalities at the reception, beautiful florals by Wildflower, an epic dance floor led by a super talented band, and a huge amount of love from all their friends and family. I have said it once and I will say it plenty times more - I am so lucky that this is my job! <3
15.01.2022 Earlier this week I photographed the birth of baby Eli! The birth was quick and intense, and April was incredible - how amazing can someone look while in so much pain?! Josh thought showing her funny videos of dogs would ease the pain (it didn't), but he was a great support for his wife. I also photographed their wedding back in 2016, so to be able to capture another unforgettable moment in their life is such an honour. 14.01.2022 Tegan and Marc were married recently on the most perfect spring day, and it was super relaxed and just SO happy. They are so adoring and respectful of each other, which made my job an absolute dream. The first meeting I had with Tegan and Marc (at the super formal location of San Churros ;)), we clicked instantly and I was so excited to be a part of their wedding day. About 6 months later, we met under less ideal circumstances when Tegan was one of my young daughter's nurses for a couple of very stressful weeks. My appreciation for nurses has always been really strong, but the amount of patience and care that Tegan and her colleagues gave to our little family was absolutely invaluable. Thanks Tegan for everything, and for choosing me to capture you marrying the love of your life <3
14.01.2022 Fun with the Thompson Family <3 Beautiful Madilyn is such a chilled little girl, who is inquisitive, has the cutest giggle ever, and she is obviously adored by her Mum ( Kimberley - who is also an incredible hair dresser) and Dad. I can't believe it was over a year ago since I photographed them with Madi still in Kim's belly! Kim had said to me that she really loves palm trees, and so when I arrived to the location we had planned to shoot at to see it had been on fire recently, I knew I had the perfect spot I could take them to instead. The perfect backdrop for running, twirling, and singing with their favourite little person.

12.01.2022 I really love photographing school friends who I've known for half my life, but I must admit I'm still in a bit of denial that we are old enough for our group of friends to be getting outnumbered by children ;) Kalee and Matthew are the proud parents of these two adorable little humans who are so full of personality and hilarious facial expressions. Neither of them wanted their photo taken (which is pretty standard!) but this was Oscar's first time in a long time at the beach and he was out of his mind excited once he was allowed to play in the water. <3
07.01.2022 I had the best time capturing Candice and Clint's wedding in Gundaroo, at the cutest venue (The Nest at Gundaroo). They are both such considerate and caring people, who kept asking everyone else if they needed anything all day to make sure everyone around them were happy, and fed ;) There was laughter (so much laughter!), tears, beautiful flowers, epic dance moves, great food, and such a present feeling of love. Such an honour to photograph their wedding <3
06.01.2022 Kimberley had been planning on booking a shoot with me, and the perfect opportunity came up when I donated a portrait session to an amazing fundraiser organised by some beautiful friends of mine. She was so excited when she won the auction for it, and I am so glad it went to her. I met Kim and her lovely family at the beach at sunset and we had so much fun (well, I may be speaking for myself there ;)). The kids had so much energy to burn and it was beautiful seeing the bond between everyone - especially Aunty Kim with her nieces and nephews, because Aunties are the greatest! It's important to me that family sessions are full of love and laughter, so that as the years go on you can still look back at them with fond memories and a warm heart <3
06.01.2022 I shot Lisa and Simon's wedding a few years ago, and they are one of the loveliest couples you could ever meet. I was so excited to be shooting them with their brand new addition, little Lylah, this morning. Willow was being her usual sassy self and she adores her sister 'baby ly-ly'. Simon had a full on workout chasing after escapee Willow the whole time, but they make having two kids under 2 look easy ;)
04.01.2022 'Love beyond words' is the tattoo that Zara has on the back of her arm, and these two absolutely embody that sentiment. They weren't nervous before the ceremony, they were both so excited. They had their portraits together alone, so that they could just enjoy the company of each other for a little while. I absolutely love that they did this, because it meant that for an hour out of what is such a busy day all they had to focus on was cuddling, kissing, and laughing, and I think that's pretty special. I am so stoked that Zara and Isaac had me along for what was an incredible day <3
04.01.2022 I think the Lehane's are definitely the couple/family that I have photographed the most over my career. I photographed their engagement photos, wedding, family photos, second pregnancy announcement, newborn photos and extended family photos. They are good friends of mine and I adore them, and it means so much to me that they keep trusting me with such important memories. <3
03.01.2022 My awesome friends Samantha and Josh had their second son last week, and I got to photograph him today. Little Hudson is the spitting image of his brother Nixon, with a slightly chubbier face, and he is just adorable. The perfect addition to such a beautiful family <3
