17.01.2022 The paint shop assistant asked if she could help, so I showed her this photo and explained that I needed the right colour for painting sheep’s eyes. Oh, I can’t match from a photo, she said firmly, You’ll have to bring a sample in. Wwweeellll, I began...... I can’t bring you a sheep’s eye, so I guess we’ll have to do the best we can from the photo.

16.01.2022 I fell in love with this shimmery zip at Spotlight recently, and just knew it would help me make an essential T1D phone belt bag more attractive. Before I made the new bag, however, I failed to notice that the zip has no metal stoppers where the teeth end. With some manoeuvring the runner is back in place, and the zip now has invisible stitching at each end to help prevent further mishap!

03.01.2022 Tiny handbags have their limits. As someone who wears glasses all the time, I sometimes need somewhere to put the pair I’m not currently wearing. Just happened to have some matching yarn in my stash, so pulled out a crochet hook. Closure was difficult to find, until a fellow crafter came to my rescue.
