24.01.2022 I would like to wish all junior players, coaches and volunteers the best of luck for the upcoming season, starting tommorow. Alot of work has taken place behind the scenes and I thank all the people involved to make our coming season a reality. Please ensure we all adhere to the current requirements and to all of our future cricketing stars, "good luck and have fun."

21.01.2022 Congratulations to all of the junior participants last Sunday for their efforts during the country week trials. It was a fantastic sight to witness so many juniors playing the game, thanks to all the people involved. For the senior players representing the Horsham Cricket Association this Sunday.... Meeting at the Horsham Post Office at 10.15 am, please call Chop if you require any assistance with travel arrangements For any interested spectators, I strongly recommend watching our finest players come together and put on an exhibition. Game is played at Stawell central Park. 12.00 o'clock start.

16.01.2022 ***Country Week Updates*** Another great result for our u17 side, smashing South West by 232 runs. Jett Hopper whacked 94 from 73 balls, with all other batters chipping in. With the ball Bailey Young, Lachie Wiedemann and Lachie Hahne took 3 wickets each to dismiss South West for just 58. Tomorrow we play Warrnambool Gold, a win will secure top spot in our pool. ... The u15 red team put in a much improved performance, going down to Wimmera Mallee earlier today. Jezza Kemp and Gibson Perry led the way with the bat, spending long stints at the crease scoring 14 and 16 respectively. Lachie Dixon took 3 wickets. U15 Blue are currently batting at City Oval, 5/86 in the 36th over.

13.01.2022 And so ends a massive week of cricket! There’s many people to thank across our u15 and u17 sides. Coaches Bunga and Sos did a great job with our u15s, Bunga’s mob registering more wins than losses and Sos ensured his side enjoyed every minute of their cricket. It’s a great sign that we had numbers strong enough to fill two teams. Gav led our u17 team through a fantastic week, putting in a strong performance to the end in a competitive grand final loss. Huge achievement by ou...r guys. Big thanks to everyone who made the week possible, everyone from umpires to scorers and the guys up early rolling pitches and painting the lines. And our tireless team managers! And of course to the dedicated group of parents who travel countless kms to make sure our young cricketers have every opportunity to succeed. 13.01.2022 The HCA would like to welcome the newly elected board for the upcoming 2020/21 season. In doing so, the current board would like to recognise and congratulate the exisitng board members for their valuable contribution to cricket in the region. The new board consists of Chris Hopper, Josh Mahoney, Matt Grace, Josh Miller & Brendan Wills. Social Media is a growing conduit for the communication of all things cricket and the current board would like to emphasise its importance. I strongly recommend clubs familarise themselves with the rules of this policy. The policy is located with the HCA website.

11.01.2022 Wimmera Regional Sports Assembly and Cricket Victoria have teamed up to support and upskill cricket clubs as we navigate what is required to return to play. All clubs are strongly encouraged to have at least one member to attend to the session on Tuesday 29th September 7pm. 11.01.2022 Hi and welcome to the new senior cricket season 20/21. Our season ahead will incorporate challenges for players, administrators, coaches, parents and everybody that enjoys Australias favourite summer activity. An enormous amount of work has been conducted by Cricket Victoria and local councils to ensure all can enjoy our game in a safe manner. We must be vigilant as a cricketing community in the way we conduct ourselves both on and off the field, please adhere and enforce the process required. Congratulations to all people involved to get us to this point. All the best to Horsham Cricket Association Clubs for season 2020/21.

04.01.2022 Great news coming from the Western Waves AGM, which is currently happening on Zoom. Congratulations to Adam Atwood who has been selected in the Western Waves team of the 2019/20 season. To top this great news off Adam has been appointed as captain of the team. Also congrats to Craig Britten who was also selected in the team.

02.01.2022 The Horsham Cricket Association are very excited to announce a senior representative team to compete in a 40 over game against the Grampians Cricket Association. The game will be played at Central Park Stawell on Sunday Dec 6. The starting time will be determined later in the week.... Our team consists of former premier cricketers, Australian country representative, Victorian country representatives, overseas 1st class players and our local stars and a 16 year old western wave gun.
