25.01.2022 Yes we’ll soon be back !! We realise that due to being closed for an extended period of time, some of our clients may have found it necessary to have their dogs clipped in our absence and hence do not require their scheduled appointment. 16.01.2022 My clients know how big I am on dogs having a good recall. It is one of the most important commands to teach your dog and whilst not the easiest command to teach, by setting your pup up for success and keeping each training session simple, teaching recall can be a great bonding exercise. A good recall also makes dog ownership so much more enjoyable . Even though Boz is approaching 11, I still do short training sessions with him on a regular basis and always have his special treats on hand so that he knows I am more interesting than his surroundings. I filmed this short video of Boz today, and even though he loves all the different smells of the beach, he knows he will be rewarded when he comes. Always set your dog up to succeed and remember come means GOOD things happen.

11.01.2022 Thankyou for your response. We now have enough dogs at present. We have been inundated in recent weeks with many people seeking appointments. As previously advised, due to reducing our working hours this year, we are unfortunately not in a position to take on any new clients at this time, but I am however currently in the process of training a prospective new groomer and am in need of people willing to allow their dogs to be groomed (at a reduced cost). I will obviously be supervising at all times and dogs will be required for Saturday appointments only. If interested please contact me for details. Thankyou, Meg. 07.01.2022 Who doesn’t love a visit from that fluffy bunny at Easter time?! I remember years ago Easter bunny decided to leave his goodies in our garden for our children to find but our basset hound Monty unfortunately found them first. Thankfully on this occasion there were no serious repercussions to Monty’s well being but it could have been so much different. REMEMBER to keep all chocolate offerings well out of reach of your pooches as it is quite toxic for dogs and ingestion can make them very unwell. This year we’re taking a few extra days off and we’re hoping the weather allows us to get Boz in the water as part of his ongoing rehab. Boz & I wish you all a very happy and relaxing break.
