21.01.2022 We encourage all players who participate in volleyball to undertake basic education in refereeing. The Level 1 (Foundation) Referee course is the place to start. Follow the link for information about resources, membership and the process for gaining referee accreditation. During the Spring 2020 season individuals can benefit from the reimbursement of their Online Course fees! See your Venue Supervisor for details. Hunter Volleyball intends to host a Level 2 Referee Course b...efore the end of 2020, featuring both practical and theoretical elements. We need to negotiate a suitable weekend with the NSWVRA to deliver this with us. Stay tuned for more details! 19.01.2022 So pumped to be one sleep away from our Super Saturday of volleyball action at Hunter Sports High School - NSW DEC We've got 5 teams competing in the our inaugural Spring Mixed Social competition, and 23 juniors ready to charge the court for our Junior Development Workshop. It's a huge weekend for Hunter Volleyball as we launch ourselves into a Spring and Summer program for players young and old alike.... 08.01.2022 Spikeroos is a participation program in which Hunter Valley kids 12-17 years old can learn the fundamental skills and gameplay! It's a fun, non contact sport for boys and girls of all abilities. Term 4 participation and competition information will be available soon.
07.01.2022 Women's semifinals tonight was a fabulous demonstration of perseverance. Outsiders claimed a set against ladder leaders Flamingos, before going down 2-1. While the arm wrestle between Sweet Digs and Cheetahs was a classic contest that saw Sweet Digs victorious 2-1 and progressing the Gold medal final in 2 weeks time against the Flamingos. The Outsiders will play-off for Bronze against Cheetahs.

Hunter Volleyball is gearing up for a summer packed full of activities, and also looking ahead to our 2021 programs (positively and optimistically hoping for a return to regular programs!) ASSISTANT COACHES... Can you help our coaches as they deliver introductory volleyball activities for juniors? Can you demonstrate the basic skills of volleyball? Are you willing to complete an introductory (online) coaching course and then earn a few dollars each week? VENUE SUPERVISORS Are you a people person? Can you meet, greet, help with setup and pack down, and oversee games taking place? Can you use a mobile device to tap in a few game scores at the end of the night? This paid role is a huge asset to our association and as we expand our footprint in the Hunter we need more people representing us and keeping the ball flying each week! SOCIAL MEDIA CHAMPIONS Can you use a smartphone to take photos and post to social media? Help us to spread the message about our fantastic competitions and players via a couple of posts each week.
