07.01.2022 Hi everyone, Ambrose Days are popular at Ravenshoe Millstream Country Club. The Wright Family Charity Day - 3 Ball Ambrose was held on Sunday which drew a good... field for the event. Gav & Tarnia Wright are strong advocates for both Beast Cancer Awareness & Beyond Blue. The day was held in good spirit, everyone had a great time, loads of laughs, with all teams going home with a prize. The hole in one grand prize of $10000 sponsored by Main physiotherapy in Atherton unfortunately for the players didn't go off however many players stayed after presentations for the Charity Auction. Approximately $890 was raised via the auction & donations through out the day. The winning team for the day was Shorecan Electeical - Josh Shorey, Kent Payne & Joel Parkinson, taking out both the Nett (Andrew Beckham Memorial Shield) & Gross (Wright Family Charity Trophy) sections. Runner Ups - Kelvin & Rowan Groves & Curtis Househam. MLD Warwick Howarth, LLD Caraline Soper. NTP's Kelvin Groves, Shane Soper & Joel Parkinson. Worst Drive for the day went to Angie Househam. Congratulations to everyone that played & a great big thank you to The Wright Family for your generous sponsorship of the day, both messages of awareness are a timely reminder for All. We are working tirelessly to maintain our supply of fresh produce and grocery lines that are currently difficult for consumers to get from the major supermarkets; know that keeping our doors open during this time is first and foremost our priority; and know that we are a SMALL, FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED BUSINESS we are doing our utmost best. As things continue to escalate on the COVID-19 front, plea...se be re-assured that Lawrence and I and the team are committed to providing a safe & clean environment for our customers and staff. We have implemented many additional measures to combat the spread of this virus and stepped up our current cleaning and sanitising regimes. Thank you to our local community for your support of and adherence to limits and restrictions we have had to place on certain grocery lines to ensure everyone in the community has been able to access their basics. It is our ethos to provide our customers with a consistent high level of service and quality product and we will continue to do so, even in these circumstances.
