19.01.2022 Tip! Kitchen It is a good idea to always check your microwave after using it. If there is food splatter in your microwave then follow this 2-step process and youll have it cleaned up in no time!... 1. Fill a microwavable bowl with a 1-2 cups of water and 2 tbsp. of vinegar and place in microwave. 2. Turn the microwave on for 3-5 minutes and let the steam work its magic! 3. Once all the food splatter has loosened, wipe away with a damp microfiber cloth. Voila! It is clean!

Scrubbing off hardened grease and grime is no fun at all, especially when it just wont come off! And if youre a health freak, you probably dont want to use expensive oven cleaners that are full of chemicals! So how do you remove stubborn residue without scrubbing into the night? Thankfully for us, there are natural recipes out there that can save us from this nightma...re of an oven! This recipe in particular works the best in our opinion! What youll need: 1 cup of baking soda cup of apple cider vinegar cup of organic soap Water (for consistency) Steps: 1.Mix the ingredients to create a thick paste. 2.Remove oven racks (watch our video on: how to clean oven racks) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NkELUp5wpXg 3.Coat the oven with the paste. 4.Leave it overnight. 5.Wipe off with a microfiber cloth and warm water. 05.01.2022 DIY Sunblock! We benefit so much from the sun but we all know that we still need protection from harsh UV rays. So sunblock to the rescue! Right? Not quite, some claim that the chemicals in commercial sunscreen are even more harmful than UV rays! There are always organic products that you can purchase off the shelves but bear in mind that they normally arent 100% chemical-free. Once again, the internet has taken things to the next level: DIY Sunblock! Ingredients: cup of c...oconut oil cup of almond oil cup of beeswax 2 tbsp. of Shea butter 4 tbsp. of zinc powder (non-Nano) 10 drops of essential oil (optional) Avoid any ingredients if you are allergic to them! Instructions: 1.Place an empty glass bowl in a saucepan with hot water on the stove. (Homemade double broiler!) 2.Mix the coconut oil, Shea butter and beeswax into the glass bowl. 3.Remove from the heat. (The beeswax will begin to set.) 4.Mix almond oil, essential oil and zinc powder and stir well. (Make sure you wear a mask!) 5.Pour into 4 oz. containers. And thats it! Youve got yourself a container of homemade sunblock! This DIY recipe is perfect for everyday exposure of sunlight. And did we mention that it also provides essential vitamins to the skin? It is important to note however, this is not enough protection for the whole day out at the beach! It is handy to own a store-bought organic sunblock too! Blade down all excess water from glass, wall tiles, and floor tiles with a squeegee. 2. Using a spray bottle with an 80% vinegar to 20% water mix, spray glass and tiles. 3.
