24.01.2022 Christmas is nearly here and this review from @ozwinereview was far too good not to share!! TO INFINITY AND BEYOND. The bar is set high at @infinitybakery with #shithot bread and #tastycakes. But is their #mincepie game up to the task? For starters, this fruit mince pie should fail automatically. Fruit mince tart! TART?! But from the first hint of crumbly, buttery pastry I just know this is #agradepie. A-grade provenance too. That pastry is beautiful. Lovely. Delicious. And ...the filling! Fruit. Peel. Flavour! Brandy lingers through the finish, filling in any holes like custard over a fruit mince pie (but dont add custard. Thats sacrilege). What a pie. WHAT A PIE! My only quibble is that the pastry is a little dominant compared to the filling. Thats it. Oh and the whole tart thing.
