24.01.2022 Previous months work

23.01.2022 This is what happens when the building code isn't followed or inspectors are lazy. Your floor joists sink. Yours truly has to crawl in a 400mm high space to fix the problem which could have been avoided by doing the job right the first time.

21.01.2022 The big 25 years on this planet. Even on my birthday still at work. They say if you love your job you never work a day in your life. I love my job. I love making people happy by providing them my services to bring to life their ideas. 19.01.2022 Not only do we undertake the carpentry aspect of Building. We also get our hands dirty laying down some tiles. Here's some pictures from the last two days work.

17.01.2022 Happy hump to one and all. In an effort to bring myself up in this construction game I'm off to do another course tomorrow. Asbestos removal qualification. If you have any asbestos in your home remember you can only have it removed by a licensed professional. Happy Wednesday one an all :)

17.01.2022 On a beautiful day like today no one wants to be cooed up inside. But we all want to further ourselves. I'm indertaking an asbestos course today to apply for my license. #betteringmyself #buildinglife

16.01.2022 This is what the entire driveway will look like once complete. As you can see the difference from the last pictures I posted. There is a nice brown fleck through the burgundy colour. Came up so nice instead of tiling or paving this outdoor space :)

15.01.2022 Big job on hand right now. Have to fix some bearers and joists that have sunk. Great work and I love it. It's the confined height space that gives you dramas. Especially if you don't like dirt. Lucky I do Hahahah

15.01.2022 Sometimes you just have to call in the car to do the tradies jobs. Replacing stumps (concrete ones is easy but the removing them first is a hassle hahaha)

14.01.2022 4am struggle this morning. Got home. More quotes. Then off to a free quote/lending a helping hand to a potential client who had a builder walk off site. Not the best time to walk off (if there ever is a good time to walk off on a client) in the middle of erecting roof trusses to an extension renovation for a lovely lady. Hopefully we snag the job and can show our true values and work ethic to help this lady get into her house. No quality tradesman walks away from a client. Minion constructions where our customer service is everything

13.01.2022 Fence is complete. Fill to go in and fake grass to be laid out around the place.

12.01.2022 This was a screen we stuck up to abide by building code for pools. Must not have any structure to climb over so instead of sticking to code we exceeded it by creating a 4500mm screen (that isn't quite finished yet) to prevent people climbing over the pool fence when it is installed

11.01.2022 Fixing rafters after a tree smashed them 12 months ago!!!!!! Got to respect the old way of building before the prefab low quality frames were produced. My idols are the chippys of the past who had to deal with hard wood and no power tools. This is what I love doing!!!!!

09.01.2022 Another day on the grind :) two jobs in one day wish I could fit more in. Call me for any building work or maintenance around your home. :)

07.01.2022 Sick of forgetting measurements on the way to the saw? Hassled by numerous questions from others that make you forget your all important measurement? Here's the solution. Stick some masking tape on your tape measure and you can easily jot them down. Even draw the desired cut for your soffits or checkouts for timber. (Punched off another page but hey we are all in this industry to help you the clients)

07.01.2022 And just for good measure we erected a clothes line for the clients took about 15 minutes (minus the line to hang stuff off) but it's up working and the most important part. The clients are happy!!!!!! Always good to have a client happy at the end of a job we aim to please :)

06.01.2022 Today's job!!!!! Fixing a broken hip and valley courtesy of a nasty tree fall 12 months ago. Let's chuck roof tiler under the laundry list of skills I have gained in my chosen profession!!!!

05.01.2022 We can add asbestos license to this in the coming days when the certificate is sent out. Minion Constructions are license to do all carpentry work and asbestos removal as required and can point you in the right direction for trades needed as we have a close knit team of tradies across the board.

04.01.2022 Did some work for the Child Cancer Foundation in Christchurch. A love job for the lovely people there to help give the patients some accomodation while undertaking their medical hardship. (Sub contract work for Fletchers construction)

02.01.2022 Full hip replacement for a crook house. Been in pain for 12 months and I gladly accepted the operation to help get this old girl back on her feet.

02.01.2022 Calling all carpenters on my Facebook if your after work call me. I have a ton of stuff on. Must have qbcc license own tools and transport.

01.01.2022 More rooms almost finished ready for handover for the school we have been working on. New ceiling linings and trim new nib walls and sheeting fans lights and paint.
