25.01.2022 Chucking a leg, 1.5 metres apart! #socialdisDancing Inspire is open and operating, and we are doing everything we can to ensure our environment is constantly clean, regularly disinfected, supplies stocked, all hands sparkling, and with class activities & conduct modified to carefully meet our nations guidelines. We will continue to dance through the unknown, and should we need to re-invent and adjust how we do what we do for a period of time, that is ok! We will continue learning, creating & inspiring hope, joy and resilience - whether it be metres apart or through a camera lens. There are challenges and uncertainties ahead, but there is also kindness, compassion, innovation, and a strengthened community ahead.

23.01.2022 The first week of September has held some significant moments for the Inspire Miranda fam. It was September 2007 that the earliest ideas & dreams for Inspire started to stir up. September 2011 we were running out of a local church hall and realising it was time to take a chance on fitting out our own space, which happened a few months later. On the 1st September 2012 we moved from that first little shared creative space (pics 1-2) to our own factory (pics 3-4). On the 1st Sep...tember 2017 we moved into Bellingara Rd where we are now. Im very grateful there is no moving or particularly huge projects on 1st September this year (other than growing a ) But it still is one of my favourite days of the year as it holds memories of that feeling of stepping into something new and unknown - the times where a change of season literally meant a change of season and a new adventure. 21.01.2022 REWRITTEN Coming 05.12.20 We are so excited to produce our first feature length creative film, featuring all Inspire dancers, singers and actors from Miranda & Leichhardt campus! Its something wed have probably dreamed about doing some day, so thanks to covid restrictions, we are pushed out of our comfort zone a littler sooner and going for it!! 20.01.2022 SURPRISE! Heres your answer to the most frequently asked question lately - Are you still going to hold a concert this year? The answer is YES! Will it be just like how we usually do it? Nope, but this is going to be just as fun . Covid-19 has changed up our year dramatically, but when we get creative we can change it for the better! In light of venue restrictions & safety, we are taking our 2020 concert out of the theatre this year - and instead, producing a film that... will be premiered at the Skyline Drive-In outdoor Cinema! . This cinematic experience will involve all Inspire students across the Sutherland Shire & Inner West campuses. What a memorable and unique opportunity to be apart of a professionally produced production; learning how to create & perform for the camera, experience a film set, and most exciting of all - watch the final product on the big screen! . 17.01.2022 Congratulations to our Junior IPC dance team from Inspire Leichhardt! Taking home a 1st Place award in Lyrical and a 2nd Place in Jazz today at Expressions Dance Eisteddfod. First time on a competition stage for all 5 of them; the smiles say it all Thank you Miss Courtney for looking after the girls today and showing them the ropes of Eisteddfod life, not only that - but for being their encouraging, nurturing and creative teacher & positive role model. 16.01.2022 How strange to think that its been almost 3 months of a whole new way of doing things. Although its time to slowly adapt back to studio life, there are so many things that came with this shutdown that I dont want to adapt away from again. Resilience and persistence came. A whole new level of trust and dependency on each other came. Creativity and crazy ideas came. Wisdom came. Learning how to navigate hard and vulnerable decisions and conversations came. Courage came. Ki...ndness, grace and patience for one another came. Of course there were tears and frustration and complete exhaustion and overwhelm, fright and uncertainty too. Thats all part of the story. But we faced fear with faith and kept going. Its with that spirit, and holding onto those lessons & growth, that we kickstart our community again and open the doors... knowing how strong we each truly are #twosleepstogo See more

16.01.2022 Hi Jemma, Savvy has loved her online dance classes so much! She was really having trouble processing everything that was going on in her little world (and ours) and not going to dance was really getting her down. Once she was able to see Miss Courtney and Miss Monique and dance along with them it was like a part of normality had returned to her week. She has done each weeks class numerous times and her face lights up every time we put it on. We will definitely be continuing ...this Term (and for a long time to come ). Your team and all their efforts have really been amazing and I know personally you guys have helped to bring back a bit of consistency and stability to a little girls crazy world. She talks about her dance family all the time and I know she will be bursting at the seams when she can finally get back to seeing you all in the studio. Thanks once again for your passion and commitment. Our kids are our world and youre making it a brighter place for them with all you do. Kicking it off with our Green Screen & Acting for Film Bootcamp at Inspire Leichhardt! Kids will have the opportunity to become an actor, director, and film producer all at once. Use our professional equipment as you build your confidence in acting for camera, gain an understanding of Green Screen technology, and work on your characterisation skills in our... improvisation and playbuilding session. 03.01.2022 Green machine Junior Jazz squad at their ‘Rewritten’ film day Miss Taylor & Miss Courtney have been amazing teachers for our Junior Jazz kiddos this year (yrs 1-2 at school). It’s such a fun style of dance, and a GREAT one to introduce your little groover too if you’re not sure where to start. Not only is it loads of fun, upbeat & high energy, Jazz dance develops coordination, rhythm, strength & stamina, and is just as much of a brain work out as it challenges muscle me...mory with those faster-paced steps! In all Jazz classes from littles to teens, we place a high value on our music, costuming, themes & choreography choices. Kids being kids is a #1 priority, and this is especially reflected in the way we teach & present this style of dance.
