18.01.2022 Hundreds of Queensland softball players, supporters and officials were in Ipswich the last 3 days for the 2020 Softball Queensland Under 14 Girl’s State Champio...nships. Ipswich Softball Association at One Mile hosted the three-day competition. The Ipswich girls were the favourite heading into the championship and were runners up, beaten by Brisbane. Congratulations to the Brisbane girls. The Ipswich U14 girls team finished last in 2019 and I am so proud of the girls for being the runners up in this year’s state championship. The next season starts 8 October and Ipswich Softball Association have players as young as 4 playing through to some players in their 60’s. All are welcome!
