Alhamdulillah, we have provided for 60 elderly aunties and uncles and alhamdulilah they are all in good health and keeping safe. 20.01.2022 Salam all, Firstly Eid Mubarak all! Alhamdulilah as part of the muslim meals project today we have continued our weekly visits to the elderly muslims in Adelaide. Today we visited 75 of our brothers and sisters and inshallah our weekly meals project will be continuing every Wednesday.

17.01.2022 SubhanAllah another year has come to an end. Islamic Community Australia (ICA) in collaboration with Old Bazaar Market have been one of the most active communities in Australia in 2019/2020! Below are some images of some of our events.

17.01.2022 Assalamu alaykum all, The following is from Imam Hamza Kafrawi. It is a great reminder and message to us all. "Message from the Coronavirus (COVID-19)... The Coronavirus is the creation of Allah and if it could speak to us it would say, all the people in the world, young and old, male and female, white and black have heard about me. I know no boundaries. I make no differentiation in my attack to people. I strike the old and the young, the sick and the healthy. I destroy the economy of the giant companies and make some of them bankrupt. I make millions of people jobless and disrupt the sources of their livelihood which takes away the peace from their tranquil lives. I destruct the economy of so many countries and bring them to their knees. Now, all the countries in the world are waging war against me as they consider me an aggressive, merciless and deadly enemy. I caused tens of thousands in America to die, tens of thousands in Spain, tens of thousands in England, tens of thousands in Italy, and many thousands in other countries. I know all the people of the world hate me and consider me very powerful. However, let me tell you, do not blame me. I am only a weak creation of the Almighty Allah. All I did was carry out His command. I am acting as His soldier to enter war with His sinful, rebellious and ungrateful servants who are nourished from His bounties but are turning against Him. I halted the torture and persecution against Muslims in China, India, Kashmir, Burma, Yemen, Libya and Syria which pleases me. I halted the onslaught of Israel to Gaza which spills the blood of women, children and other innocent people whose freedom have been seized and left defenceless. I make the individuals, tribes and nations admit their weakness and helplessness before the might of God. I caused the pubs, nightclubs and other places of entertainment where sins are committed to shut down which pleases me. I make the atheists believe in the existence of God and the sinners feel remorse and repent. Besides all these which please me, there is one thing however that saddens me a great deal and that is that I caused the Mosques to shut down. However, for the lovers of the Mosque, their affairs are always good under all situations. In disaster, they are patient, and that is good for them. And in happiness, they are grateful to Allah, and that is good for them as well. The lovers of the Mosques who die from me will have the reward of a martyr, and whoever of them is sick because of me will also have the same reward. The lovers of the Mosques when put to test will have the following two results: either they are raised high in rank in the life to come or they have expiated their sins. Indeed, Allah tries them with misfortune in order to cleanse them of their errors and mistakes. O people, the impact I have made upon your lives should not have bewildered you nor made you think that I am so ferocious and strong. I am only a weak creation of Allah that has made the whole world helpless in its fight against me. Imagine, what will be your fate if Allah commands the earth to swallow you or orders the heaven to rain stones or fire upon you? What will happen to you if Allah orders the ocean to drown you or send upon you millions of viruses that are much more deadly? Or causes the earth to have earthquakes and rain upon you its volcanoes? O people, I am present among you because of your sins. You commit fornication and adultery day and night. You transgress the divine limits and show ingratitude to God for all His favours upon you. Human blood is spilt everywhere on the surface of the earth without just cause, and the consumption of the wealth of others wrongfully is rampant everywhere. The Mosques are deserted, and the divine Book is covered with dust with no readers. Drugs are consumed by the young and old alike. Children are lost without proper guidance and upbringing from their parents, and crimes are on the rise in all societies and so on and so forth. Has my presence made you reflect over your negligence, sins and mistakes and made you turn to God in repentance? I desire to affect only the lives of the sinners, the rebellious, the tyrants and the arrogant of their economic and military might, but the Divine wisdom requires otherwise. O people, return to God in repentance, and everything of your lives will go back to normal or even better. God says: (:71) Seek forgiveness of your Lord; He is the Great Forgiver. (71:10) . A weak creation of Allah, Coronavirus. "

12.01.2022 Article from Imam Hamza Spiritual remedy for afflictions Mankind has been allowed to exist on earth with the task to prosper it through living righteously and d...oing what is right morally and ethically. The source of human prosperity, success and happiness comes from the Creator of the universe. This is the undeniable truth. The Western society tends to believe that human intelligence is solely responsible for human affluence. God and obedience to Him does not play any role in it. This belief leads people to arrogance, wrong belief in the omnipotence of god, and depression upon failure. Islam on the other hand takes a different approach to the matter. It preaches that the source of human affluence comes from the heaven as said by God in His holy Book: In heaven is the source of your sustenance on earth. )51:22) Yes, human intelligence contributes a great deal towards the successes and failures of an individual or a nation. However, it is not the main factor. Beside it, righteousness and godliness are other factors which are of greater significance. God in His infinite power has the capability beyond our imagination of granting remedy to human sufferings and hardships. Nothing is impossible with Almighty God. We have taken a wrong path of thinking by comparing Gods power to humans which is limited. He has proclaimed, all beings in the universe are at His mercy for survival and nothing escapes His attention. In His words, He said: . There is no living creature on earth but depends for its sustenance on God; and He knows its time-limit on earth and its resting-place after death. All this is laid down in His decree. (11:6). He again stated: . Your Lord grants abundant sustenance, or gives it in little measure, to whomever He wills. Verily, fully aware is He of the needs of His creatures, and sees them all. (17:30) Allah sees a black ant walking on the Black stone in the midst of the dark night and also hears the sound of her footsteps God made a promise to His servants that they will enjoy stability, tranquillity, ease and satisfaction if they live a godly and righteous life. Indeed, it is only in the submissiveness to God that mens hearts can find comfort. The hearts are deprived of tranquillity and comfort due to their drifting away from their Creator. What enjoyment can one have in life if ones heart is deprived of peace and tranquillity? At this, abundance of wealth will be meaningless. Life is not free from problems and challenges. It has its ups and downs, and so, men are in constant need of Gods aid as He has the absolute power of reversing difficulties into ease. And Gods aid is always near to the submissive. Humans need to discard arrogance in behaviour towards Allah by allowing His law to govern our family and social lives. When this happens, this chaotic world will be changed into a paradise where people of different colours, races, ethnicities and religions will live in peace and harmony. Adopting arrogance in attitude towards God by transgressing His set limits will only add more sufferings to the human life in this modern age which is already drowned with problems and uncertainties in all aspects. Rebellion against the divine guidance by the humans will only cause the humans themselves to bear the consequences. Whatever good happens to humans is from God; and whatever evil befalls them is a consequence of their sinful deeds. (4:79) Had the humans lived a godly life, no natural disasters such as earthquakes, tsunamis, landslides, floods etc., would have befallen the world to serve as a divine reminder of the sins committed by the humans. Warning the humans against living a sinful life, God stated: I have the power to bring upon you suffering from above you or from beneath your feet, or to split you into hostile groups and make you taste the violence of one another. (6:65). When the divine reminder comes upon us in the form of natural disasters, our modern technologies wouldnt be able to avert them. At that time, only the will of God will have to prevail. Indeed, disasters have spread throughout the land and sea, because of what the people have committed. God thus let them taste the consequences of some of their wrong doings, that they may return to the right path. (30:41). No any previous nations that trod the wrong path was left in peace without being afflicted with natural disasters that served as a reminder to return them to the right path. Such has always been the way of God in His interacting with His servants. He said in this respect: We sent Our messengers to nations before your time O Muhammad to invite them to do what is right, but they denied them, so, We seized them with misfortune and hardship in the hope that they might humble themselves to Us. Instead, when Our punishment came to them, they did not humble themselves, rather, their hearts became hardened, and Satan made their wrong doings seem good to them. (42) (6:43) Humbleness and accepting the truth is expected from people when the divine reminder comes upon them in the form of a natural disaster or viral pandemic. The attitude of showing arrogance by people of the modern age in the face of a divine reminder will only complicate the worlds problems. The world today is agonizing over Covid-19 which is affecting our lives in all aspects, including the economy in particular. This could be the consequence of the ingratitude that we have shown to God, the giver of sustenance, for the favours He has bestowed upon us. No day passes nowadays without the word Coronavirus or Covid-19 being on the lips of the young and old, and men and women. That is how fearful they are of this viral pandemic which has altered the lives of humanity on a global scale. It is about time for all people of the world to be wise and consider that Covid-19 could be a Divine reminder for us to return to the right path and humble ourselves to God and turn to Him in repentance for the errors and mistakes that we have been committing. This could be the most effective way of combating the Coronavirus as disease and illness comes from God and He is the real Curer. Lastly, with the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, my message to all my Muslim brothers and sisters in faith is, let us welcome it with a high spirit of devotion and make the most of it. Let us capitalise on the blessings it brings us and draw ourselves closer to God through performing abundant righteous deeds and acts of devotion with the hope of obtaining His pleasure which will change the current appalling condition we live in for the better!
