24.01.2022 NOW is the time to prepare & protect our children, our staff & our families... With the recent concerning news of a second & more severe wave of Covid-19, it is now time to increase our awareness & our procedures, which in turn will keep everyone around us healthy & safe. We are again adapting stricter procedures to protect everyone that enters the centre. Please see below guidelines: ... We ask you to leave siblings & other family members at the front foyer when picking up or dropping off your child. There is a lounge in the foyer for their comfort. Please nominate one parent of carer to drop off and pick up your child. We understand this may be tricky for some families, however it will minimize the amount of people entering our centre. If you, a parent or carer is feeling unwell, please ring the bell in the foyer & our staff will take your child to their room. Do not come past the front entrance. If you are displaying symptoms of CV19, we encourage you, if possible, to keep all family members away from the centre. Maintain strict hygiene at all times, regularly using hand sanitizer & washing your hands with soap & water. If you child is sick, please keep them at home! Isolate if you have been in contact with someone who, or suspects they have CV19, or if they have been to Victoria. We understand some of our guidelines may inconvenience some families, but the health and safety of our children, their families and that of our staff are highly important. 24.01.2022 National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. The School Readiness children created this snake mural How clever!!!

24.01.2022 Yesterday the School Readiness Room had some fun painting on the easels. There were so many creative ideas put on paper! The children painted their family, a truck, a big animal & a castle. Imagining & experimenting help develop critical thinking in children, and painting with their friends is a fun and MESSY way to get these creative juices flowing!

23.01.2022 It is such a blessing to see all of our children returning to the centre As restrictions are set to ease, we are asking you all to remain vigilant and encourage social distancing with adults. Please maintain hygienic measures which will help keep our staff, children and families safe. We are still asking that any children or additional family members that pick up or drop off your child to wait in the foyer, and remember to use the hand sanitizer provided at the front desk before entering our rooms. We are looking forward to when these restrictions are a distant memory, however until that time, please help us keep you and your family safe. And remember, if your child is unwell, please keep them at home. Thank you to our wonderful families for your continued cooperation.

16.01.2022 SCHOOL PHOTOS Buggalugs are coming to capture our happy snaps again this year! Photos are scheduled for Tuesday 9th to Thursday 11th June, & Friday 12th if needed. Your child will be photographed on the FIRST day that they attend the centre that week. Please drop your children off in the attire you would like them to be photographed in, and our educators can change them into somethig more comfortable after their photos. ... Siblings are more than welcome to attend for photos as well, however please let an educator know THE DAY BEFORE so we are prepared, and we can help you get your older child(ren) off to school before their bell rings.
