23.01.2022 One of my biggest fears is not being able to continue with my business because the call of parenting special needs becomes so strong sometimes. My hubby also has a business. Balancing all of it pushes me to my limits some days. I am not looking for sympathy that is not why I share, I share because it lightens my load and helps me to understand my inner conflict. Some days I wonder if I was doing more at home more would it change things? Would it make our lives easier? I k...now people who have it way tougher than us, my admiration for them is so great. I see families doing their thing going away for the holidays or filling their kids days with adventures and fun. Now we can do that too, but it takes a whole lot more navigating and planning. I have lived a life with my older kids and know the difference a bench mark I guess. Sunday’s we try to rest and play catch up on some much needed down time. It’s not easy, just last weekend a new neighbour was hanging over our gate before 8am Sunday wondering if all was ok, she got an education about Daisy and thanks for her concern. We are very conscious of the noise level our cherub projects mostly out of fun or frustration, mostly very early in the morning Our life is very different to most, I try to down play just how different it is. Sometimes I push against the flow and try to make our life normal! Our journey is one full of emotion neither good or bad just heart filled authentic emotion! We celebrate so many small seemingly insignificant moments, my heart is filled with a joy so grand when she comes to me and kisses me. I cry when Daisy hits herself so hard she bleeds, I have moments of despair and panic when I think of what the the future holds. For the most part I live with hope, I believe in a bright future but sometimes my shadow side jumps out and needs to be heard and acknowledged, it’s not part of me that gets much air time, it’s the part of me so vulnerable and so afraid. The cliche saying that you never know what battle some one is facing is so pertinent. This journey continues to stretch me and teach me so much. This moment too shall pass See more

21.01.2022 A little shout to me I am still on my own weight loss journey. I don’t believe in scales, they mess with my head! After struggling with obesity most of my life, stepping on scales causes me soooo much anxiety! I chose another method of gauging my results which has been far better for mind set... I buy clothes that are too small, I put them away and try them on every so often. I bought these denim overalls (sorry no full length mirror for the pic atm that’s another story wha...t happened to it) but any who, they were way too small a few months ago. I put them on tonight and they fit, not only did they fit they were baggy! I can’t tell you how happy this made me. I am always looking after everyone else and forget about my personal journey. I just wanted to share how bloody good it feels right now! Keto is undeniably the most amazing way of eating to reverse obesity. I am currently working on the Next Step to shake it up a bit for long term ketoers watch this space something new is brewing! In the mean time, slow and steady makes the journey sustainable. It has taken me 21 months to go from size 24 to size 14, I am in it for the long term which will bring long term results. See more

Had my little treasure pot Grand Daughter and all my kids at home. We swum, drank champagne ate amazing food and had the best day!
