23.01.2022 First incar video I have put up of TCR. Although the end result was disappointing in this race there was some satisfaction in the challenge of it. Was content with 4th place towards the end of but the sheep shagger behind thought otherwise. We had speed all weekend but just got caught out at the wrong time with the safety car restarts in this race. From memory the ambient temp was below 10 degrees C and the rear tyres were having none of it. Saftey car periods 3:30 - 13:30... and 16:50 - 22:40 Enjoy! https://youtu.be/yG_6VYy-xW4

21.01.2022 Footage from the Zooks first race meeting. These were the first laps where I had no problems and could push it to see how the car actually drove after the new build. Not ideal trying to learn a new car in race conditions but makes for interesting viewing. Once I got to 3rd and knew I wasn't going to catch the top two, I was content with just sitting back and getting to understand the car more. I'm pretty happy with the overall package as a base. Some things I learnt from th...is race was the brake bias front to rear still needs fine tuning, throttle mapping needs work to make the power delivery more linear and the tyres rubbing on the guards on fast corners is a problem. Pretty happy I now have a car that can not only pass around corners but in a straight line as well! Top speed down the straight was 241km/h. Ill respect the decisions made and will be looking forward to getting out there as soon as we can. ... 16.01.2022 Finishing touches on the Zook today in preparation for its race debut this weekend. A few little tweaks since the last test day including adding a prop valve to the rear brake circuit. 14.01.2022 Bit slow on the updates but the Trackschool Trackdays ride day last Monday was mad!! Put a smile on plenty of faces in the Pitcher Partners TCR Alfa, Craig Wing reckons he had more fun than a lap with Jamie Whincup The Zook, what an animal . Acceleration rate is much higher than a TCR car. Car ran well but needs some sorting, 10% throttle is equivalent to 100% power so traction is an issue. Looks like the turbo seals are busted as well as it likes squirting oil out of the BOV onto the turbo Anyway time to clean it up and put it on display at the Raceworks stand this weekend out at World Time Attack Challenge . Hope to see you there!

Was more worried about making some go fast changes Here is a couple of fly-bys courtesy of Trackschool Trackdays For those that dont know the Zook has a G16B block with G13B head, Swift Sport gearbox, Garrett GTX28 turbo with 36mm inlet restrictor as per regs and Motec M1 ECU.... The thing sounds on point at 8000rpm
13.01.2022 I was the only Alfa that finished today, unfortunately the other two rockets had problems. Made up some spots at the start and brought it home 5th, pretty good but fingers crossed better again tomorrow! Thanks for the support everyone

13.01.2022 Zook is dead unfortunately. Crank trigger bolts broke off and shes got no spark. Easy fix at the shop but not at the track Anyway snagged its first race win in Race 1 and had a bit of fun, pace is plentiful as well which is a nice luxury Thanks to the crew, sponsors and everyone else for the support, keen to get it fixed up and out there for the next one!

10.01.2022 First day in the Italian stallion for 2020 yesterday with @grmotorsport and @tcraustralia Tallied up a chunk of laps and turned out a pretty good lap time so we are thrilled! At this stage we wont be at the Australian GP, spewing because thats a real bucket list track. Anyway eyes forward for now to Round 1 at Sydney Motorsport Park in 4 weeks!

06.01.2022 Well, what a debut weekend for the Zook in its new configuration Long story short the car caught fire from an oil leak in Qual, ECU problems and alternator failure in R1, kill switch failure in R2 and then a podium from rear of grid in R3! The good news? Shes fast, straight line handling is on point ... Thanks to everyone who lent a hand over the weekend, theres some great people involved with this project. 04.01.2022 Had a great weekend recently racing with Scott Dean and his wife Michelle in the carselling.com.au Mercedes A45 AMG. Scott and I shared driving duties over the weekend in the build up to a 1 hour Enduro at Morgan Park (great track). Unfortunately the car didnt make the big race with brake issues putting us out before it started Anyway still had a ball! Not sure if Scott was more annoyed at the brake problems or me putting Michelle in a headlock after she tried to tickle me Thanks crew
04.01.2022 Appreciation post 2019 has come to an end and what a year it was. I had my first crack in a national category in TCR Australia. First time mixing it with the big boys and I got to learn a lot about my driving. Achieved goals in some areas and missed in other but above all had a blast getting back into hard core door to door racing At the same time we made and met plenty of fans on and off the track and its great to have you guys part of the journey. There are also many pe...ople that supported me getting there I can't thank them enough. If you came to me back in the EG Civic days and said today I would be racing for Garry Rogers I would have told you to bugger off! Merry Xmas and happy holidays everybody
03.01.2022 So glad these guys came on board for the Zook project. Quality stuff Having used modified injectors in the old EG, finding these have been a game changer. The tuner loves them and so do I, heaps of flow up top and plenty of control down low. So much so the car idles like a road car. No issues either so far leaving E85 in the tank for the last 18 months Raceworks

02.01.2022 Been a while but glad to get some time to start tinkering on this best again! Armed with a guard roller, an oxy and a big mallet I was pretty pumped to get the Enkei RFP1s to fit front and rear without the need for flares. Big fan of the rolled lip look Also made gains in the weight saving department by cutting out the ginormous amount of bog in the rear quarter ...
