18.01.2022 What amazing community spirit! Bargain Buy Bendigo contacted us last week and offered to donate 300 masks to Jenny's ELC to help support vulnerable families. If your family is finding it difficult to access a mask due to availability or financial constraints, please get in contact with us. We love Jenny's ELC Bendigo Hospital and we hope this video give you a little insight as to why we think it's great!

It's always challenging to be able to truly capture the special feel that a centre has, the care that the team have for each individual child and also the pride they display when providing amazing quality education to the Strathfieldsaye community - but we do feel this video gives it a 'red hot go' of capturing the centre to share with everyone. Welcome to our world!

13.01.2022 To use a performance theatre term - Each of our Centre Cook's are a 'double threat' - they can cook and Educate! Mel from Strathfieldsaye recently completed her Diploma of Children's Services and everyone can't wait to see these seeds in some of her delicious cooking!

12.01.2022 The interest, excitement and gratification based around writing and/ or recognising your own name is something that we love to see being developed. These Pre Kinder children have been so interested and excited to develop these skills!

11.01.2022 Our newest centre is in beautiful Heathcote and was built after a huge amount of community support. It's just over 18 months old and operates with group of passionate and enthusiastic educators, their individual relationships with the children are genuinely amazing - there is truly something special about this centre!

08.01.2022 Daffodils often remind us that the start of Spring is just around the corner. Today is also Cancer Council Australia's Daffodil Day where money is raised to help support cancer research and to support the thousands of Australian's who are diagnosed every 4 minutes in Australia.

08.01.2022 It's heart warming to see colleagues looking out for colleagues! Today's morning tea at Epsom (with lots of sometimes foods) was organised by one of our amazingly in touch, emotionally aware and supportive team members. Working in the Early Childhood Sectors we are in a privileged position in many aspects and one is being able to support our families and colleagues through challenging times. We will always ask the question R U OK? Please also know that you can reach out to us at any stage also!

What can make our job so meaningful is knowing we've had a part in helping to shape the lives of others in a positive way. On National Educators Day some of the children at Strathfieldsaye thought they would create some portraits of their favourite educators. 07.01.2022 Jenny's ELC Epsom celebrated it's 10th birthday earlier this year! When the centre first opened, our neighbour was a sheep farm! Epsom is now an amazing community full of beautiful people! Our friends at Toddle popped this video together to show off some of our favourite things about the centre!

04.01.2022 After helping to raise $15000 in 2019 towards Audiology Equipment at Bendigo Health we were excited for 2020! Unfortunately the now inevitable decision has been made to cancel the 2020 Christmas Concert. Please don't despair, we have on very good authority that Santa has been in contact with the amazing Bendigo Theatre Company to help make sure 2021 is the best concert ever! Thank you to all the families who attend each year, we will keep everyone in the loop as to how support can still be given to the Bendigo Health Foundation's Christmas appeal a little later in the year.

01.01.2022 We all know 2020 has looked a lot different to other years - even the launch of the Bendigo Health Foundation's Christmas Appeal today looked different! Each Christmas we love to support raising funds for Bendigo Health and this year these funds will go towards Pediatric Rehabilitation supplies a cause very close to our hearts! We were very lucky to receive our very own Covid Safe Mini Christmas Concert earlier today on the lawns of the Bendigo Hospital!
