24.01.2022 OMG this was soooo much fun!!! I had to paint an aerial view for uni of some islands in qld so I decided to use this technique! Omg sooo much easier than painting Alf Stewart! May have to start teaching this?
24.01.2022 AND its a wrap! FINALLY finished Alf woo hoo! Now off to dry before its ready to be sent off to the set of Home and Away for the entire cast and crew to sign. A short timelapse video of me painting it will be released very soon (my daughter convinced me to put a hat on and try and be Alf but I dont think I quite pulled it off ) Thank you my darling husband Kian Colely for all your encouragement and belief in me xxx Eyisha Clarke thank you for my hair! 24.01.2022 Kids imaginations never cease to amaze me. Look at this first piece. (All of these artworks were inspired by Australian artist Charles Blackman) this child was inspired by covid. A mask wearing woman, watching so much Netflix her eyes have gone square, colourless and lifeless. Her clothing is a teapot as all she does is drink copious amounts of tea and has nowhere to go, so why not just wear a teapot? There are so many more meaningful pieces here but I will let you use your own imaginations to interpret their workdelve into the rabbit hole of the impact on kids and their imaginations in this very strange world we live in right now. Their creativity is vital to sustain a better future through critical thinking outside the box

13.01.2022 Art excursion this weekend! Painting en plain air the tulips of Araluen, miniature horses, biting ducks, beautiful Koi fish, meeting local artists at the own studios in the hills and visiting local galleries for inspiration. My students took some of these wonderful photos. A wonderful day that ended with ice cream and amazing memories
