03.01.2022 Check out this cryptic dovetail ring I made for my brother in law @xsetra_dnb Xmas prezzy. And while you’re at it check out his music and graphic design. He’s on!!! Pretty sure we nailed his style with the black timber on Matt black silver and I love it myself! These rings can only be put together as three parts and then the two parts to the metal band have to be solder joined together. In any other metal but silver I can protect the timber from the heat enough to solder the... join in the bottom of the band. But with silver the timber burns out before the join solders, so I’ve had to create a tongue and screw system. I think you’ll agree that the detail the system creates has a positive impact on the overall design and for me that’s where the magic of good design happens - when the why is a byproduct of the how!
