24.01.2022 COMMUNITY-MINDED VIDEO EDITOR NEEDED Are you an aspiring video editor who loves to learn about local history? Do you have a good feel for conversation editing a...nd trimming? We've got a paid gig for you. JAMARR is running the StoryTree Project (http://storytree.jamarr.org.au). Thanks to Mareeba Shire we got a modest grant to conduct oral history interviews. Our team has captured 4 interviews with local treasures. The interviews are about an hour long each, and the video is from 2x smartphone cameras. Video and sound quality is pretty average, but the stories are great. Your job will be to edit the raw footage down to about 15mins, cutting between cameras and working with the sound as best you can. Ideally, we'd like you to also show us how to run interviews better, and how to use a video editing tool ourselves in the future. Budget is fixed at $2000.Deadline is before 31 Dec. Interested?
