25.01.2022 Hi everyone Under phase two of the easing restrictions, ONLY non - contact sporting activities are permitted so unfortunately for now we remain closed. ... On the upside however , its getting closer to opening our doors again & we cant wait.. such an exciting time to come At this stage its looking like its going to be July when we will be allowed to open. We will let everyone know the minute we are given the go ahead. Who else is absolutely itching to get swimming again?? I know we are!!!

24.01.2022 BEST NEWS !!! SO EXCITED Lessons will be back from Monday 13TH JULY !!! (same class times as before, unless you have changed the class time over the closure ) ... Showers & change rooms are now permitted to be used and more people are allowed in the centre. There will be some changes to the venue to be compliant with the COVID safe plan. All of these details will be sent to you in an email early next week On a scale of 1-10 who is as excited as we are? We are definitely a big 10!!!

22.01.2022 Getting your children into lessons at a young age is such an advantage to their progression Little Mia has been with us since 4 months of age & is now in our advanced Penguin level for 2 year olds. Mia is very confident in the water and at only 2 years of age she highlights the benefits of swimming and learning water safety from a young age.... Well done Mia !! We are very proud of you

22.01.2022 Hey everyone We have been waiting for clarification regarding reopening in QLD , and have been advised that communal pools are able to open for lap swimming and rehabilitation services only - NOT swim schools as yet. We will keep everyone posted with any updates as soon as they come to light & will let everyone know as soon as we are given the go ahead to start back. ... So unfortunately no lessons for now We miss you all terribly & cant wait to get back!

As summer approaches and more classes are opening , we are in need of one more teacher to join us for weekend work ( mainly Sundays ) as well as fill in shifts during the week.... 18.01.2022 Its with a very sad heart that we will be temporarily closed ( An email was sent out to all members a few minutes ago.) Lets all do our bit and beat this nasty virus!! We will miss our amazing swimming family ( we seriously have the best!! ) and cant wait to get through this and back to seeing all your beautiful faces in our pool.... When you walk through the front door this week you will see quite a few EXCITING changes :-) Jump Swim Schools Ormeau is now independent of the Jump franchise and has rebranded as Aqua Kidz Ormeau!!!!... 16.01.2022 Let your creativity shine in our latest SWIM INTO SPRING competition at Aqua Kidz Ormeau Great prize packs to be won by the top 3 most popular entries Post the most creative photos of your little swimmer & yourself or family (if you wish) showing us your interpretation of what swimming into spring looks like ... Only one entry per family. The top 5 entries will be chosen and put up at the pool and customers will vote for their favourite. Competition starts Tuesday 1st September. Finalists will be chosen on the 7th September and pictures put up at pool Tuesday the 8th. Voting at the pool will close 5pm Tuesday 15th September and the winners will be announced Let your imaginations flow and lets have some fun :)

We are looking for our families to get into the Easter spirt and come up with some great photos. ... Our theme is Aqua bunny and friends at Easter.
