Seriously peeps How about washing your damn hands, covering your mouth and eating some nutritious food instead of chowing down on the fake shit that you’re eating instead of real food? ... How about you think about getting a good night’s sleep? Drinking plenty of filtered water? And God forbid....actually doing some exercise??! Turn off the stories of riots over dunny paper, GP’s refusing to see patients with fevers and doomsday prepping....spend some time doing something enriching like connecting with the people who are important to you. 19.01.2022 Hi Beautiful Souls. The daily reminders of how life has changed for us all can be overwhelming. I’m usually a strong woman. I’m currently working frontline supporting COVID positive patients and have been holding the together pretty well. ... Today though, I’m struggling. I’m teary, tired, feeling unappreciated in my work and at home. My logical mind knows my family and my employer value what I do, but my emotions are driving the truck today. So. I’m sitting with the doubt, fear & anxiety. I’m acknowledging that individually and collectively we are all in struggle. I’m being gentle with myself. And I’m doing the things I can do to help me to feel less overwhelmed - a little housework to help my space & mind to feel ordered. A little cooking to nurture myself and my family. A game of Uno with my partner and our Brady Bunch family to feel connected. Be gentle and kind to yourself and to each other. We will get through this. If you need support, please reach out.
