Guidelines changed a number of years ago to every 3 years, yet some v...ets are telling pet parents they need to do it annually which is over-servicing. World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) Information on guidelines here: https://www.wsava.org/guidelines/vaccination-guidelines You can also titre test your dogs to see if they actually need re-vaccination - costs vary depending on location. Our dogs havent been re-vaccinated as they havent needed to be....maybe yours dont either. Remember, adults shouldnt be vaccinated if they are not in good health. - Some pet parents like to give the kennel cough vaccine, this is an annual vaccine. If you dont want to give it, speak to your Vet about the risk factor. - Some boarding kennels and clubs are governed by government regulations that are behind the times.

On the 5th of December, I had a 14-year-old mixed-breed dog brought to me with severe head tilt, cervical muscle spasm, balance issues, nystagmus and unable to walk because of this. Vets had said the ONLY solution was euthanasia!! Today he walked in for his treatment, has been walking for a week. Very little head tilt and no nystagmus. So incredibly happy. ... 09.01.2022 They say mimicry is the highest form of Flattery. Well, in that case, I am very flattered! As those of you who are my customers know, I do my adjusting using activator instruments, the safest and most accurate way of adjusting. I have noted of late others acquiring cheap activators and trying to use them, especially in the show area. Activator and the correct use of an activator requires training and expertise like any medical instrument. Even within human chiropractic many ...chiropractors buy activators and get very poor results with them because they do not have the training to go with the correct use of such an instrument Buying a spanner does not make you a mechanic or mean you know how to use it correctly. Buying a stethoscope does not make you a nurse or doctor, nor does it mean you can use it correctly. Cracking a bone does not make you a chiropractor, dog or human. Buying an activator does not mean you are any better at trying to adjust, in fact, probably worse without training. So while I am flattered that people are trying to imitate me, I think the principle of Caveat Emptor may apply. Guess it time to find a good power source and trot out my good stuff that I leave at home, let them aim for an even higher level See more

05.01.2022 I had an interesting experience on the weekend, being outdone by the blow in from interstate 6:1. Now, this is not sour grapes toward him, He is a nice guy and good at his job. My point is, do you support the blow in or do you support the guy that turns up every week for you to help you and your dog? Emmett technique is done by so many these days, mostly by people who have NO anatomic training at all, and therefore no understanding of the mechanics that go into making a d...og move. On the other hand, you have me who is not only trained in Emmett, therefore totally understanding of ALL the muscles but also trained in anatomy and function. I try my best to help you all every week but it is very disheartening when you all flock to some other guy and make it IMPOSSIBLE for me to make a living! Despite what you may think yes I do understand and treat muscles, I also understand the spine and all the extremity joints and capable of keeping your dog going. It makes me seriously consider whether I should keep putting myself under the strain of trying to help you by coming to dog shows! Either I am deluding myself and I am no bloody good at what I do, or maybe a lot of you need to reconsider supporting those that try to support you week after week!! See more
