25.01.2022 Thredbo Resort Update We are relieved to report that the imminent threat of bushfire has passed Thredbo Resort. However as fires remain active nearby, the re...sort remains closed until further notice and the evacuation order for guests and residents remains in place. We are continuing to work closely with the authorities and will keep you updated. Our heartfelt gratitude to our volunteers who stayed on the mountain, the Thredbo Fire Station, Fire & Rescue NSW, the National Parks and Wildlife Service and the NSW Rural Fire Service who worked so closely with us over the past week to prepare and protect our beautiful resort. We will advise when resort operations will recommence as soon as possible. We thank all our guests, residents and the community, near and far, for their support and patience during this time, and we hope to resume normal summer operations in Thredbo in the coming weeks.

As the East coast of Australia continues to battle tumultuous fires, Duane is doing his part by volunteering at the Glen Innes fires. 17.01.2022 Thredbo Resort Update As we head into Thursday, we confirm that due to surrounding fires in the Kosciuszko National Park the resort remains closed to guests ...until further notice and the resort will not be open for the weekend. We are forever grateful for all the many messages of support and camaraderie we are receiving from our community in support during this time, and appreciate your ongoing patience while we work closely with the authorities. 15.01.2022 Selwyn Snow Resort has suffered extensive damage as a result of the recent fires. We are working closely with the National Parks and Wildlife Service and relev...ant agencies to arrange access to the resort, so we can fully assess the damage that has occurred. The safety of our staff is our highest priority, with all staff safely evacuated before the fire reached Selwyn Snow Resort. While we know the Selwyn community will be saddened by this news, it is important to remember that the fire situation is still active in the wider region. We will update you with further information about the resort in the coming days.
