25.01.2022 Just a reminder that there will be no normal training tomorrow night due to the general grading. If you are grading please ensure you bring your syllabus with you. Training will resume for term 4 on Tuesday the 9th and Thursday the 11th of October.

24.01.2022 Kofukan "Tiger" "Wind" "Association" In Kofukan we practice the japanese Karate style Tani-ha Shito-ryu Karate-do, the great oeuvre of our t...eacher Ske Tani and his organization Tani-ha Shito-ryu Karate-do Kenpo "Shukokai" - the organization of those who practice together. Master Tani learnt Karate from Chojun Miyagi, the founder of Goju-ryu Karate, and from Kenwa Mabuni, the founder of Shito-ryu Karate, and from others. As these days a huge number of Karateka and Karate organizations worldwide use the term "Shukokai" without having a relation nor a connection to Ske Tani in Kbe, his direct students respectfully decided not to use "Shukokai" anymore but spreading Ske Tanis great oeuvre under the name of "Kofukan". 14 March 2014, 3am

23.01.2022 On Thursday we celebrated our 3rd windup trophy party. Its been a busy year in the dojo with lots of new members and our current students progressing well up the ranks. At the last grading we also saw our first full Lake Clifton brown belt so well done Naomi :) A group of students also attended the Kofukan karate interclub tournament. This saw sensei Glen loose a bet due to the students bringing home 4 trophies (he said anymore than 3 and hed wear the tutu), it was great day and many laughs were had. Wed like to thank everyone for their support especially the students for thier hard work throught the year. Have a great christmas everybody and well see you in 2018
