23.01.2022 Today we celebrated International Mud Day at kindergarten! We had to collect the dirt first which was a group effort and then just added water. Not everyone got muddy but those that did had a wonderful time. Some children did mud painting and one group of children made a volcano! Sorry parents ... you might need to soak some clothes

23.01.2022 We are currently taking enrolments for 2021 and have some spaces available. If you are looking for a play based, child oriented kindergarten or you know someone that is, please give us a call, or message us for enrolment information. We are not having an Open Day, due to social distancing restrictions but we are more than happy to do tours at a convenient time. Hope to see you soon!

21.01.2022 Today we did the Backyard Aussie Bird count at kindergarten and spotted 4 Magpies, 3 noisy minors, 6 rainbow lorikeets and 1 galah in our 20 minutes. There’s still time to get involved, download the app and start counting!

21.01.2022 We made the most of a break in the rain today to go for a nature walk near the kindergarten. We are so lucky to have fabulous natural areas to take the children exploring. We saw some beautiful birds, including a pair of stunning rainbow lorikeets. We also found some clay, which we collected to take back to kindergarten. I wonder what the children will do with the clay tomorrow

12.01.2022 Today we were visited by Scott, the aboriginal artist who painted our fabulous mural on the kindergarten wall. He and his son Scott spent the morning with us showing us Aboriginal artefacts, telling us a dreaming story and singing and dancing. His son Scott is a very talented musician, who sang, played the guitar and the didgeridoo. We then looked at the mural outside and talked about the symbols that Scott had painted and what they meant. This afternoon some children worked together to make their own representation of Scott’s mural.

04.01.2022 This week is Aussie Backyard Bird Count Week (19th-25th October) and today one of our Magpie babies came for a visit. His poor Mum had him following her around squawking for her to feed him... as only a baby magpie can do! She was showing him where the scraps land after the children finish lunch. Tomorrow we will do our Bird Count. There’s an app you can download if you want to join in with counting the birds in your backyard All it takes is 20 minutes and you can do it in your backyard, the local park, the beach or in the street. If you need help identifying the birds the app can help with that too! Have fun counting
