20.01.2022 Well that time has come around quick again guys in a couple of days Ken Knox will be sitting in on his appeal tribunal hearing via video live stream. Ken has been working hard going over his papers and I know matter which way it goes he has given it his best. Well done Ken and Wendy you both deserve better than this and we all hope it goes well and you can put this all behind you. It is very hard for me because I can not assist you guy's with the hearing when I have been through these documents with legal and they also think it stinks. 20.01.2022 Update One step closer to a resolution. Due to the latest situation with Covid19 Qcat can not conduct hearings in person. They have contacted Ken and Wendy and asked them if they can make a decision on the evidence that has been lodge or to have a telephone hearing but due to the telephone service out west they have chosen for a decision to be made by the evidence submitted fingers crossed on a good outcome guys.

The ACCC will not do anything about a known manufacturing fault with the Holden Colorado's guzzling oil or the fact that dea...lerships were deceptive and mislead consumers when they withheld information at the point of sale in my opinion, but Now they will investigate GM Holden when the Dealers are being screwed over ? WTF this is unbelievable. How many customers have been left with problematic vehicles that will be at a loss from the behaviour of these businesses that are now crying for help, When is the consumer going to be compensated. 16.01.2022 This Week's update Appeals directional hearing will be this Wednesday the 25th Nov. They will be deciding if the case goes back for a re-hearing.

16.01.2022 Today Ken has had the Appeals hearing which took place via conferencing. The Senior Members were quite thorough in this case and have reserved judgement until they look through all the evidence. 15.01.2022 Well today I am a little bit devastated to say the least and shocked that the Member from Qcat has Dismissed Ken's Application on the oil Guzzling Colorado. The... Member even stated as below that the defect was present when Ken took delivery of the vehicle and that the vehicle was not of acceptable quality of that time. So by Ken being Forced into the repair option by Holden / Taits not giving him his consumer rights he is not entitled to a refund. We will be looking into this further and be looking at our options moving forward but to me this does not seem right. what chance does a consumer have if they are allowed to sell you a defective vehicle and one that is not of acceptable quality at that then denied his rights even by Qcat.

11.01.2022 If you own a Holden Colorado and have been Dealing with the same problematic issue's of Oil Consumption as Ken & Wendy. I want you to stay Tune in the coming weeks I will release TSB's which is public knowledge and the Dealer Letter which shows Holden New about the oil consumption issues in the 2014 Colorado's. They also show that they revised the Motor in November 2015 but further bulletins still released show they use the same measures to combat the oil consumption issues in the revised motors of 2015/2016 Models. In my opinion it is deceptive conduct under the ACL and GM Holden continued selling these vehicles through their Dealer Networks with knowing the vehicles may have a defect of an oil consumption issues and Dealers with -holding this information from customers.

10.01.2022 Afternoon to our followers. We have yet another update regarding Ken's case. Recently we have had a hearing date set for the 1st of June. We also received notification that Tait's witness has pulled out as he no longer works for Holden. They lodge a form 40 request to add another witness which in my opinion should not be allowed so late after evidence has been lodged. Now we recently received notification that mediation has been set for the 15th May which seems a step backwar...ds but I guess they are covering all bases. There has been 4 attempts trying to mediate with the Tait Auto group one in person in Goondiwindi at the Tait's office and once via telephone and 2 other attempts by Ken and Wendy. If your reading this Mr Tait which I am sure you will, this will go to a hearing. I believe this is your last chance to make this right and do the right thing by this retired couple, do not blow it off like the last attempts have some compassion and let's put this all behind us. 08.01.2022 Good Morning We have an update We have finally received direction from Qcat. It is time to put together our case for appeal and lodging further documents for the case. We have not been given a date for the appeal directions hearing as yet once we have that information over the coming months we will update you further. We thank everyone for there continued support

08.01.2022 Conciliation took place today between Ken and Tait Auto and no agreement was made. So the hearing will go ahead on the 1st of June at 9:30am. Good Luck guys

05.01.2022 Morning everyone, Now it seems to be all about the dealers and wanting assistance from the government. I do not hear anything about the poor customers that have... also been left behind. In my opinion the dealerships have had their hand in turning away customers with problematic vehicles not just Holden or now as they call it GM Holden. I received an email in the last couple of days from GM Holden which would not assist a customer with a problematic vehicle in a non start situation which they have had 3 batteries replaced in the last 3 years and the dealership was also no help to the customer and on the same day received a letter of rejection of a refund and stated take us to court. I have known dealerships in my local area to kick the customers out no longer allowed to return. If for a minute you think I don't feel for their situation you would be wrong but they have been part of the reasons why Holden is not here today and the way customers have been treated. Why is the government not bailing out the thousands of Holden customers that have purchased Holden's that customers are stuck with that can not be fixed. Many of these customers have been fighting for their rights of replacement, refund and repair for years. New car retail study showed that many dealerships were receiving kickbacks for dealerships who processed the least amount of warranty claims. It is things like this that lead to poor customer service. What about the consumers who have suffered the enduring stress affecting their health long term. I have seen it all. I am still awaiting a call from a local Dealership for the last 2 days. 03.01.2022 This really upsets me as a consumer advocate. Many Holden customers are left with problematic vehicles that are costing customers thousands to repair known issu...es with vehicles that Holden refuse to cover which should form part of this enquiry. Dealers are worried about their business what about the consumers who have been mislead about there consumer rights by both Dealers and the manufacturer and let's not forget they are still under an undertaking that ends this year. It's not good to be on the other foot knowing what the customer feels but maybe they should just get over it like the customer has too.
