23.01.2022 To our Friends of Kerralee, The team at Kerralee Wines are excited to let you know about our latest release of Sparkling Wine which is due mid November. This Kerralee Sparkling is named after our grandson Isaac, Sparkling Isaac. The Pinot Noir Chardonnay blend has been aged on lees* for the past four years and has a superb flavour balance with a crisp clean finish, perfect for the upcoming season being a quality celebratory summer drop. We have several other vintages agi...ng on lees, with the 2019 sparkling being our last. Kerralee Vineyard has recently become part of the Moppity Group operating from Young, Tumbarumba and now Murrumbateman. As a result, we are now retired from things viticultural, but have retained several years supply of Kerralee wine stocks. We will continue to supply existing clients, attend the Cellar Door Markets at New Acton, Nishi 2 Philip Law Street, ACT and supply via website and direct orders. Please note that delivery in the Canberra region remains free of charge. Lastly, we are able to offer private tastings by appointment in the Cellar Room at Gryphons Caffe Bar, 16 Barker Street, Griffith ACT if you would be interested in a private tasting, please use the contact details below or speak with Dan Kenny at Gryphyons on 6260 8848 *Lees aging is a wine word used to describe a stage in a wine's maturation phase, especially sparkling wines. 22.01.2022 Along with the 15 local rosé being poured on the 8th by the wonderful wineries, I’ll be pouring a couple myself. I’ll have the divinely pretty Shaw Wines Shiraz... rosé and the luscious Kerralee Wine Pinot Noir rosé. The Kerralee Pinot Noir Rosé is a crisp and delicate wine, which is welcomed at almost every occasion, day or night, winter or summer. This vibrant variety displays a floral and fruity taste with a pleasant dry finish. The Shaw Vineyard Shiraz rosé is all wild strawberry and peach with a savoury edge and a soft tannic grip on the finish.
