25.01.2022 Sit back and relax. Take care of yourself #selfcaresunday #kidopia #childcare #earlylearning #preschool

24.01.2022 Today the preschool children used their creative and fine motor skills to create houses using play dough (individually bagged for each child during COVID-19 times) and paddle pop sticks. The children were engrossed in their creations this morning, have a look at the finished products... Meanwhile downstairs in our star kids room the children had a wonderful time outside chasing and learning to blow bubbles. Bubbles is a fantastic way for children to use their visual tracking (following the bubbles to pop) and hand eye coordination (catching the bubbles.) What a great day we had.

19.01.2022 The Toddler and Babies have also been exploring the sand and puzzles this week with lots of focus on our ABC's and number 1-20. Puzzles are fabulous for children fine motor and cognitive development, they also help children problem solve at a younger age with trying to figure out which piece fits in which space.

13.01.2022 From 6 April to 28 June 2020 you won’t need to pay child care fees which means we’re not paying Child Care Subsidy (CCS) during this time. If you started using ...child care since early April and want to keep using it after 28 June, you should start looking into CCS. If you want to claim it, and haven’t yet applied you should claim now. There’s no need to wait. If you were getting CCS before 6 April 2020, you won’t need to do anything for it to start again on 29 June 2020. Find out more about CCS if you’re new to child care here: https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/indiv//new-child-care

11.01.2022 Today we have spent the day inside using some of our recycled materials to create so amazing play spaces. We had towers been built with houses and then we used the flat boxes to create mini roads with spaces for houses to be made out of smaller blocks. The children have had a wonderful time using their creative and problem solving skills.

05.01.2022 This week the Preschool children have been focusing on Sensory concepts. We have had slime, sand, play dough and shaving cream finger painting. Sensory play encourages a scientific thinking and problem solving with each child. It also enhances your child's senses which include smell, touch, sound and sight.
