23.01.2022 We welcome the news that all Australian governments have committed to improve the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through a new Closing the Gap Agreement. We are particularly pleased to see the commitment to increase the proportion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in appropriately sized (not overcrowded) housing, and reduce the rate of over-representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in out of home care. 02.01.2022 Concentrating on schoolwork can be hard for any young person, but for at-risk young people who are often faced with overcrowding, lack of space to study and a difficult home environment, it can be near impossible to prioritise their education. However, with the space and support of a studio, our impact results show the incidence of young people performing well in their education increased from 59% to 91%!
