25.01.2022 Hi Guys, just a heads-up op a rather annoying Outlook issue some users are having after a Microsoft Office Security Update Install. One of our clients brought it to our attention that when they receive an email with more than one attachment and they select the attachments to save to them to their machines or to the network, only one of the many selected attachments is saving and with no warning from outlook. So, as you can imagine if you are someone like a real-estate or buil...der that receives and files many attachments at once and then only figure out weeks later a file you thought you filed hasnt been saved and you have to go through everything again it can be an absolute pain. It would be worth while testing this out if you are running office 365 and seeing if you are affected by this update as it may save you hours of filing if you are. 08.01.2022 Guys please be so careful when clicking on emails, this one is a fake telstra bill that has ransomware embedded in its attachment.Once you run the attachment it locks all your files, deletes your backup files and demands a ransom to be paid to unlock your files.Even if you pay the ransom (which is not advised) you will not be provided with a fix so be warned.Back up your data regularly offsite and if you are worried about what you can do to prevent getting caught out by such emails give us a call and we will give you some advice.Rudi.
