18.01.2022 At our screening on the 7th November, we hosted the ON THE ROAD AGAIN TOURS car club who raise money for the RFDS. The Drive In was part of their tour and helped them to raise nearly $35K for this very worthy cause. WELL DONE OTRA!

16.01.2022 We will be screening RAMS again on Saturday, 19th December. Gate will be open from 6:30pm and the movie will start at 7:30pm. The canteen will not be serving food, just drinks and snacks. Adults $10, under 16 FREE!

15.01.2022 All is set for the movies tonight. You can pay by cash or card at the gate, but the canteen is cash only. You can get cash out at the ATM located on the corner of Railway and Birdwood Street.

Please note that we will be starting the movie at 7:30pm so the sun has gone down and it is dark enough to see the movie on the screen. the gate and canteen will be open at 6:30 and we look forward to seeing you all at the Koorda Drive In.

10.01.2022 Thanks to those who braved the cold and came to the Koorda Drive In on Saturday night. Our next screening is on the 26th September (Queens birthday long weekend) so pack up the camper, swags, and family and experience sitting in your car to watch a movie, gazing at a starry night sky, and seeing first hand what Mother Nature has to offer. We are still waiting to see what movies will be available over that weekend and will post them as soon as we have made the selection.

10.01.2022 "JUST DOWN THE ROAD": In the Wheatbelt Way that could be 500m or 50km! You just never know where a Wheatbelt Road Trip will take you, but you can be guaranteed ...you will more than likely find a rock! Rock Granite outcrops, are either inselbergs (isolated rock hills or knobs) or monoliths, (a single massive stone or rock). Erosion usually exposes these geological formations, which are often made of very hard and solid metamorphic or igneous rock made from granite. Rising abruptly from the gently sloping or level surrounding plain, they dominate the surrounding bushland. When exploring the outcrops ensure that you wear suitable footwear. In winter the rocks can be slippery and it can be windy on top. So rug up and enjoy!

06.01.2022 The movies used to come on reels (usually 6-8) these days they are on a hard drive, can be pre loaded and scheduled, no more standing in a hot room waiting to change reels over

05.01.2022 Looks like it is going to be a great night to watch the movies tonight. Bring a chair and sit outside under the stars. Canteen is stocked and will be serving hot food and refreshments from 6:30 until intermission. The gate will be at 6:30pm too and the first movie Cats & Dogs 3 is scheduled to start at 7:30. Only $12 for adults and $6 for kids, 3 years and under are free (because they are usually asleep by the time you go through the gate) A great night out for the whole family.

05.01.2022 Two great movies booked for the 26th September. Make a weekend of it and experience watching a movie under the stars. The wildflowers will be in full bloom and the weather should be warming up too.

05.01.2022 Two great movies coming to the Koorda Drive In on Saturday, 21st November. Gate and canteen open at 6:30 Astro Kid begins at 7:30 and RAMS will follow. Hot food and refreshments available from the canteen. 16 Years and over $12, Under 16 $6, and under 3 FREE! A fantastic night out for the whole family!

03.01.2022 We apologise for not being able to give more up-to-date information through our Facebook page and understand that some of you are trying to work out weekend trips, but movie releases are being chopped and changed daily with some release dates being put back to 2021. The cinema and drive in operators are at the mercy of the distributors. COVID-19 is still having an impact on us here at the Drive In. At this stage we will be screening again on the 7th November, but we are considering closing down until February next year due to the uncertainty of movie release dates.

Accommodation is also available at the Koorda Hotel and their phone number is 9684 1226 (open after 4pm).
