15.01.2022 If you are looking for change, know there are no quick fixes. Change is about character not new personality traits. We are in control of it all. Once we realize this, change begins. No longer is it anyone else’s fault. It lies in our hands. Self growth is holy ground, be tender with yourself. In the words of Thomas Paine....’ That which we obtain too easily, we esteem too lightly. It is dearness only which gives everything its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price on its goods.’

08.01.2022 There’s always more than meets the eye. Those who feel insecure, insignificant and less than need to make others feel small so they can feel large. No one with healthy self esteem and intelligence will make another feel worthless deliberately. When they do, and are made aware of it, they are always big enough to apologize. Character is something that is developed over time. It goes hand in hand with integrity. It’s a principle that is foundational for all relationships and ...is felt through such actions as honesty and humility. What we see is often not what lies beneath. Take the time to observe and listen. When we do, so much more is revealed than if we fill in the space.

03.01.2022 Regardless of what is right in front of us, we need to be aware of how we interpret things. Likewise, this awareness tells us others interpret facts through prior experiences. The more aware we are of our own paradigms, and maps the more we can take responsibility for them. Then, we can examine them, test them against reality and listen to others whilst being open to their perceptions. ... If we want significant change in our lives we must work on the underlying beliefs that are our foundation. Trying to change our attitudes and behaviors won’t come close to getting to the root of our beliefs.
