24.01.2022 Persistent swelling in neck and arm 1 month after a car accident. Swelling reduced by 50% and pain reduced by 30% after the initial Kinesio Taping intervention (lymphatic drainage application in this instance).

12.01.2022 Meet the Presenters: Kinesio Symposium 28th May 2017 (Sydney). Dr Kenzo Kase is the inventor of Kinesio Tape and the Kinesio Taping Method. Way back in the early 1970s Dr Kase, as a qualified chiropractor, was looking for something that would help his patients outside his time with them in the clinic. He could see his hands helping them during their treatment time, but then some of the effects were being lost between sessions.... Over the years, he developed what is now known as Kinesio Tape so that his treatments could have a sustained effect. The techniques have naturally been developed and refined since those early days, and under Dr Kases guidance, Kinesio Taping has expanded into a range of distinct, targeted and precise applications. Dr Kase will be presenting a lecture on new applications in pain management with Kinesio Tape and doing demonstrations on real patients with real conditions. 11.01.2022 Some really strong invitational teams joining the internationals fighting it out for the Kinesio Cup at the 2017 UON Central Coast Sevens in October.

11.01.2022 Its been a couple of years since Canada last managed to get one over the Aussies (seen here in 2014 as winners of the Kinesio Cup at the UON Central Coast Sevens - CC7s), with the Aussies taking out the HSBC world series, the CC7s in 2015 and 2016 and also picking up a bit of golden bling at the 2016 Olympics. But with the Canadians winning the Sydney 7s last weekend, USA making the finals and Fiji and NZ still playing exceptionally well, 2017 is shaping up to be a really hard-fought battle.

As well as running a successful physiotherapy business, Alex is also heavily involved with a number of elite sports teams including the USA... Stars rugby 7s and the NSW and Australian Masters Hockey teams. His involvement with these teams has seen him traveling all over the world as he looks after the welfare of the players. Alex will be presenting a lecture on using Kinesio Tape in a sporting environment from pre-game conditioning to acute injury management and will also be assisting with the practical workshops during the Symposium. Since then, she has developed new techniques and diagnostic procedures such as the Bridges Protocol for Low Back Pain, presented her research internationally, written a Kinesio Taping manual for advanced taping applications and more recently had her muscle function testing and taping book Length, Strength and Kinesio Tape published by Elsevier Australia.
