The combined total of his climbs equals the same distance as mt kiliminjaro, which Dr June Canavan planned to sumit as her final climb for klocking up the ks. 22.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who attended the dinner lastnight. What a great evening, culminating with the announcement $130 000 has now been raised for St Judes. This was the final Klocking up the Ks fundraiser, but a foundation is being created in Junes honour.Meanwhile please keep June in your hearts, continue supporting St Judes and are to climb your own personal mountains' in life-with June as your inspiration.

18.01.2022 Today it was announced that a major Sunshine Coast Sports Award will be named in honour of Dr June Canavan. 16.01.2022 The klocking up the k's charity swim was held at Caloundra aquatic centre, with a host of celebrity and everyday swimmers diving headfirst to raise money for klocking up the ks. The event was a mercantile relay, meaning the winner was not the fastest team but the team that finished closest to their nominated time. Teams could bid on celebrity swimmers to join their team. Famous swimmers there on the day:... Melanie Schlanger (Olympic Gold and bronze medalist) Christian Sprenger (world record) Nick D'Arcy Samantha Hamil Megan Nay Marayke Jonkers-paralympian Chloe and Correy Jones (Surf Life saving)

15.01.2022 Hope to see you at the charity swim tomorrow.Bring your togs to join in, or just come and support the swimmers.If you've ever wanted to swim against an olympian or champion, nows your chance: Melanie Schlanger, Samantha hamil, Nick D'Arcy and Marayke Jonkers are just some of the swimmers who will be there. The event tarts at 11am at the Caloundra aquatic centre, Central Park Road Caloundra (off Arthur Street).

They will climb the mountain four times each day.Between them, that's 5800 metres, the same as mount kilimanjaro, the final mountain June planed to climb for klocking up the k's. He says "Before June left for Kokoda she challenged me to walk 4 hours daily.To honour her memory I've challenged myself to lose a few unwanted kilos.
