25.01.2022 Hi everyone, we are booked out for Easter and have a waiting list! We do have vacancies for the rest of the April school holidays though we are filling fast! Looking forward to seeing you all soon, with all this rain the river will be looking amazing!

23.01.2022 Hi everyone! Our phone has been down for a couple of days, but it’s back on again. Sorry to those who have tried to contact us in that time. We can now take your calls if you have any enquiries. ... - Mick and Jacqui

22.01.2022 The Many Faces of Knorrit Flat We have owned Knorrit Flat Riverside Retreat for about 6 weeks and have enjoyed meeting our campers - regulars as well as many new visitors. We have had sightings of koalas, platypus and the beautiful wompoo fruit-dove enjoying the Moreton Bay fig trees. We have also discovered these magnificent trees dotted around the property. I am sure there are many more discoveries over the years. Only 26 sleeps till spring .... See ya, Mick and Jacqui

20.01.2022 Everything is looking great ready for the time we can open again. Sorry, no I don’t know when that will be, but hopefully not too far away. Hope you are all having a lovely weekend

19.01.2022 Hi Campers! Well this weekend was possibly the hottest November weekend on record! 46 on Saturday and 43 Sunday up at the house! The camping crew here this weekend are absolute legends to stick it out! Not only stick it out actually get into it! The river rose a few inches with all the swimmers and you guys also filled a lot of recycling bins with stubbies and cans! The grass is getting a rest now and soaking up some well earned water! Thanks for visiting and see you all again soon Mick, Jacqui, Gymea, Finn and our mad boxer George, who made a few unauthorised entries into the campground over the weekend!!!

18.01.2022 Hi all, Pretty obvious but the campground is closed due to these extreme weather conditions! Not too sure of the damage thus far. We are far luckier than others around us though!... Stay tuned for updates. Jacqui and Mick

17.01.2022 Something to give you a smile

15.01.2022 Some good news for our area. The general store in Mount George has recently reopened after a long time being closed.

14.01.2022 Same tree, less than a year apart. Knorrit flat is looking very green now! - Gymea, eldest daughter of Mick and Jacqui (and Knorrit Flat receptionist!)

13.01.2022 Hi Campers 80mm of rain fell at the house yesterday! The river gauge at Rocks Crossing looks like this. Peaked at 1.93 at 3am this morning. On the way down now.

11.01.2022 We’re ready for tomorrow

08.01.2022 Happy 3rd Birthday Bruce! His day was spent spoilt with a bone, helping dad around the campground, lots of cuddles and pats and a big play with Lucy.

08.01.2022 Howdy Access to the swimming hole looks like this! Grass is super green and the sun has poked its head out! Great time for camping, not swimming...just yet anyway. It should drop quickly though as the rain has stopped! See you all soon!

06.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Thanks for the overwhelming amount of interest, but we are fully booked out for the October long weekend! Cheers,... Jacqui and Mick See more

06.01.2022 Happy Easter Saturday

04.01.2022 Are you ready for Knorrit Flat? It’s nearly ready for you! You may not notice the two new workers in the campground but they will be working hard delivering plenty of hot water in the showers ... And to ensure no criticism of gender bias we have one for the men and one for the ladies! Plenty of firewood! And the grass is growing.....too well as are those bloody bindis! So pack your thongs! Can’t wait to see you all! Mick and Jacqui

03.01.2022 Who loves winter camping? We have some first time winter campers this weekend.. who can share their favourite top tips and hacks for camping in the colder weather!!

02.01.2022 Hi campers! Well it looks like we can open on June 1st as travel restrictions in regional NSW will be lifted then. I’ve been inundated with enquires particularly for the June long weekend so please be patient as I work through them. I’ve been caught a bit off guard as I was expecting restrictions to be in place until 12th June. I think everyone is keen to go camping! Yay! Cheers Rhonda

01.01.2022 Hi Campers! We have some exciting news! The picture says it all, yes we have sold. The new owners are Mick & Jacqui and their 2 teenage daughters, from Port Stephens, who liked the place so much they bought it. They are keen campers, with a love of the bush and all things outdoors. They intend to keep running the campground as it is, nothing will be changing. John & I will be staying around for a while yet and we hope to see lots of you and perhaps enjoy a farewell bevy lol... Mick & Jacqui will be transitioning and are keen to meet all our wonderful campers, over the weekends and holidays. We are all very happy and looking forward to the future, Cheers Rhonda, John & Bruce See more

01.01.2022 Hi All - Apologies if you have had trouble contacting us for the past few days - our landline; internet and mobiles have all been out since Monday due to a storm. Internet and mobile up tonight - landline still down has been for over a week now ... and waiting for Telstra to travel to the ‘remote’ location called Caffreys Flat to fix it. Please go our website for bookings and be patient if we don’t return your calls. Mobile coverage is not great in our beautiful location! Regards Jacqui and Mick
