25.01.2022 Wow! What a strong BREEDERS PLATE this year! As many of our long term followers know, we had the pleasure of breaking in the 2018 & 2019 winners (DUBIOUS & GLOBAL QUEST). But placing 3rd and 5th in a strong and well bred field is just as impressive! We couldn’t be anymore proud of these two colts:... 3rd - ASTROLOGER bred by Edinglassie Thoroughbred Stud 5th- KALASHNIKOV bred by Segenhoe (Stud) Group Both colts were exceptional to break in and funnily enough were videod together! So enjoy a little snippet of them jumping out of our top barriers at the start of the year! Both colts are trained by Peter and Paul Snowden of Snowden Racing and both are owned by James Harron Bloodstock and his connections.

13.01.2022 This evening we fair-welled the Handsome Oblique. After a spell and some pre-training we sent him on his way to Snowden Racing. We are looking forward to keeping an eye out fo him out on the track and at the races! Oblique is was broken in with us after being purchased by @jhbsyndication at the Magic Millions 2020 sales. He has developed into a stunning horse. We can’t wait to follow the next stages of his career.

11.01.2022 Today Dundeel/Varsity Blues received a visit from some of her lovely owners whom are part of Proven Thoroughbreds crew. We love our owner visits. It is rewarding to see their faces when they admire their horses condition, and get to see for themselves the characteristics of their horses, that they hear so much about. This filly was broken in with us in March (see image on left), and is now in for her 3rd pre-training preparation (image on right taken today). We are looking forward to see what name she is given!

06.01.2022 It’s great seeing a lot of this years breakers out trialling in the lead up for an exciting spring/summer carnival. This morning at Caulfield Racecourse in Jump out 2 we watched RED ROCKETSHIP worked home nicely to win his first trial for Mick Price Racing The EXTREME CHOICE colt was bred by Newgate Farm and sold through the Magic Millions January sales for $180,000. He was purchased by Suman Hedge Bloodstock and Mick Price.... We hope to see some more great results from this young colt in the near future!

02.01.2022 This beautiful Capulet EGO Z Colt definitely wanted to be out in the world. From first push to touching ground it was all over within the hour. It was all a super smooth birth and both Mare and Foal are doing great. His sire is Maleah’s gorgeous grey Bentley. So bub shouldn’t stay a chestnut for too long!!
